If I can leave less than one star I would. We are regular customers here and have been coming over a year. We travelled through rain and traffic to have a family dine in. We had asked the hostess to seat us for a total of 7 with a baby high chair. When we arrived there were about a total of 3 families dining and room for plenty more. We had a fan directly above us and it was extremely freezing and because of having babies we asked if they can at least turn off the one right above us. The server mentioned that she cannot turn it off so she is just going to live our table even though we needed to move all the kids and babies we had with us she was cold to the inconvenience it caused. When we were lived to the next table they asked if we can move the babies inside since they needed more walk way space, it was impossible since it would be difficult to feed the kids with the babies in between us. We asked the server why they had not placed us in a different t spot that would not cause inconvenience to them nor to us, no response. They asked if they can move us to a larger table in a private corner and maybe that would help. Again :( the server asks that I move my purse to the other side. Then she mentioned if I could move in since the rug was bent. Then she asked if I could my child again inside, finally we had to just tell them to please move a part of our table to the other side and we will try to manage to accommodate them. I asked the server if the special stuffed ragatoni with shrimp was recommended and she mentioned that she would rather go with this option than the chicken parm since it was very tastey and I would not regret it. The food took over an hour to come and when it did my shrimp was over cooked the sauce was water with just Church’s if tomatoes. The ragatoni was not stuffed at all, I asked if I could just return it and go with my first option chicken parm and they had a very nasty approached when they responded no and said we are very busy we don’t return. I explained we are regular customers and I went with the option because she had recommends it but unfortunately there were only about 4 shrimps and literally they were well over cooked. I mentioned me nor my son has eaten and it would take me time to go to the next restaurant and order. I asked to speak to the manager and over 30 minutes later she came back and said again sorry we don’t return , I asked her where the manager was and he/ she refused to come. They completely ignored and carried on...... this beyond disrespectful to regulars or even any customer. I don’t leave reviews actually ever and when I leave a good one I directly tell the supervisor or managers on the clock , but I had to absolutely leave this review. I am beyond upset and my 1 year old still has not eaten either ,...
Read moreThe reason this place is missing two stars is clearly because of the terrible service I received for my Christmas party. The three stars are for the food which saved this review. Our food was good!Nothing was wrong with it and if you like Italian food and like BYOB for something small I'm sure it's ok but don't plan a party, for a large group and expect to be treated well. Unless there was something personal about me I can't tell you that for sure. From the first walking in our waitress was snippy with me ignored some of my questions and give dirty looks to some of my guests. On top of that when I made this reservation over a month ago I told the person on the phone I was bringing a cake , they said no problem, I was told when I brought them the cake today it would be a dollar fifty per person to serve the cake, I said well let me just have the cake myself I will serve it myself. They told me this was not allowed and I had to pay the dollar 50 a person to eat my cake I purchased. Unless we all purchased ample amount of desserts from their own menu and then the cake would be served for free.I have never heard this anywhere in my entire life I get the idea of it but we had a group of nine people and dropped over $220 not to mention I was told nothing about this on the phone. I have been a Google guide for over 2 years now and give honest reviews I will not stop here. So to sum this up if you're looking for a quick bite and want something not that bad that taste somewhat homemade yes the food is good, but the service today with a group of people was very very poor until I spoke to the manager ,yet the dirty looks from the waitress didn't stop until the end .... And I am a very nice person and try to be friendly to everyone and that is exactly what I did when I walked in I was friendly. so just be advised if you decide to dine here don't bring your own cake if it's your birthday unless you feel like paying the dollar fifty to have to put on a plate. the funny thing is is this particular group of people and myself deal with customer service all day and we wanted to just sit down and enjoy ourselves and be served and we had to fell uncomfortable until management was spoken to. The manager was very nice and I must say thank you to him for understanding the situation, understanding the phone call about the cake was not mentioned to me and understanding that his server was being rude so thank you to you the manager of La Sicilia. Everyone will have their own individual experience, I am just reviewing mine as honest as it was. Wish I could have givin this a 5...
Read moreI have been a patron of this place since moving into the neighborhood a little over 1 year ago and while the food is pretty good the service has declined over the last several visits. On Friday I went to pick up some slices for myself and my girlfriend and while waiting the kid behind the counter, Joseph as per the name he gave me later, seemed to be rushing me to lay beige with got my order. I have never had an issue paying as soon as I get my order but he seemed to be una fairly elevated state of hurry. I understand it was Friday night and they were busy busy busy with incoming orders for delivery and pickup but a little decent customer service I so t think is too much to ask for. When I told him I'd wait for my order to be ready to pay he mumbled something to which I reiterated that I would wait for my order to be ready to pay as I have always done without incident. After the second time letting him know I would wait he proceeded to turn to walk away and disrespectfully waved his hand in the air as if I was bothering him with my request. I immediately cancelled my ordered and left before I grabbed a chair and turned the windows into shattered glass all the place. Absolutely 100% unappreciated to be treated as an afterthought when I just patiently waited out of the way. This wasn't the first time "Joseph" has had some kind of problem with me. I've had him tell me they had no slices and I would have to wait for a fresh pie when there were clearly slices out for sale right in front of me. I'm not sure who he thinks I am, may e confused that I am someone else he has beef with, but this last time was the last time I'm putting up with that level of disrespect. I will be boycotting the place and encouraging everyone to...
