Dine in at 19h Sat. They saw us, pointed to a table and took at least 10’ to give us the menu. Blonde girl, nice but slow and could be a better waitress after training. Brunette girl, I guess she’s Peruvian bc of her attitude, treats you as she’s doing you a favor. Our order: Tallarín saltado especial 4 shrimp, some chicken and beef, lots of little tentacles. Noodles I prefer al dente and this ones were a little overcooked. Greasy and sour. I guess they use a lot of vinegar and didn’t have the right heat. Cilantro and green onion as decoration. Personally I don’t like green onion and also in Peru we don’t use it for this dish. Tallarines verdes con bistec, beef overcooked and hard to even cut it (those knifes are not for that). Noodles overcooked and the sauce wasn’t bad, but we expected more. Papa a la huancaina 🙌🏻 We ask for a bottle of Inca cola and they brought it. No glasses n I had to asked for straws. Music a little too loud for the size of the room. They served our order separate, first mine and when I was halfway the other dish came. We wanted the chicken but the fries looked old. Limited parking. No prices on the menu.

Caravana, Belleville I recently ordered takeout from La Caravana, and from start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Even though I didn’t dine in, the staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and welcoming—great customer service all around. I ordered the rotisserie chicken with fries and salad, as well as the beef chaufa rice. The chicken was juicy and packed with that smoky, flavorful seasoning that really stands out. The fries were golden and crispy, and the salad was fresh, adding a nice balance to the meal. The chaufa rice was a real highlight—well-seasoned, full of flavor, and loaded with tender beef. You can really taste the care put into the cooking. The portions were generous—perfect for a filling meal or even to share. Everything was neatly packed and still hot when I got home, which made the whole experience even better.

Horrible first time experience. I called in my order. 30mins later i arrive to pick up my order, and the front counter lady asks me to wait because my order of fries were not ready yet. I waited, finally she rings me up i pay and walk out. When i arrive at home the fries were missing from my order and the salad was brown covered with tons of dressing to disguise. Make sure to check your food before walking out.

Today I have a horrible experience at this place with the owner . I went couple of times to this place because the food is not bad . I live a half of hour driving . I arrived a little early today around 11:45 am . I asked to the son of the owner if the restaurant is open. He said it will open at 12 pm and if I want roasted chicken I should wait 12:30 pm. I waited outside until 12:05 . After that I entered to the restaurant and asked for service . The owner answered me very rude that they will open at 1:00 pm . She was very rude. Instead she is happy and grateful for our preference she was upset and answered nicely . Her son gave us the option for place a delivery I didn't consider the offer for the rude way the owner speak. I would not recomend this place because they don't have a consideration for their customer . Is not the first time I feel this kind of bad customer service . In addition to that they always charge you the 20% of gratitude in your bill even they give you a good...

Been going to this place religiously for years. We usually like to order ahead by phone but yesterday no one was picking up. Figured we would just stop in to place an order, but the owner was so rude when we asked if the phones were working. She said no the phones are off the hook when we’re busy with a nasty attitude. The place was empty with the exception of a couple people sitting.

We wanted to order 4 orders of pollo ala brasa and she couldn’t be bothered giving us a timeframe as to when the next batch of chickens might be ready. She just kept saying I don’t know, we don’t have any chicken right now. She was so rude and unprofessional that we just walked out. Look at the way they respond to some of the reviews, blaming the customers as to why they are rude and nasty. Really?!

We’re big supporters of local businesses but it’s for reasons like this why we stop being...
