Although the quality of the ingredients was cheap (basic square fish, cheap buns) they did a good job having crispy fried food. The soft serve had a tangy flavor which wasn't my favorite, but could just be personal preference. It was very expensive for low quality ingredients. $20 for an adult, a 3 year old and a 1 year old. (see pic for food), then $7 for soft serve ice cream cones. They use a lot of disposable items including Styrofoam cups & plastic knives which irritates the environmentalist in me. On a positive note, they had this creative little fenced-in "kiddy corner" for kids to eat separately from adults, which was nice & unique, but they didn't have a changing table in the restroom, which is a big bummer for a place that claims to be family friendly. Speaking of friendly. The young girl who had a part time job there was super friendly as were the other customers....which especially nice when I'm dining with my 2 toddlers without help. However, the man who appeared to be the manager seemed irritated by our simple presence there. When we walked into the nealy empty restaurant & ordered at the counter, he seemed exasperated. The record was old and worn , but clean, like grandma's house....something oddly comforting but not always a first choice. I love patronizing local establishments and keeping my spending local, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be visiting this place again any time soon.

This was my first visit in a long time, as I had not been here since I was a teenager. There have been many mom & pop places we have visited, with some being good, while others were not. This is not one of the good ones. Upon reaching the door, we discovered that they apply a credit/debit surcharge disguised as a "convenience fee". I find this practice despicable. Now for the banana split. The sign said it came with three flavors of ice cream, but during the winter they only have vanilla. Once we started eating it, we quickly discovered how bad it was. It was disgustingly sour. The sour chocolate sauce was too thin, the whipped cream seemed off on the flavor, and the ice cream had no discernable taste to it. To top that, the cashier seemed more interested in flirting with the manager, because while she made the dessert, she continued to chat about who knows what. How about you can the idle chatter while customers are there, hmm? Finally, the overwhelming stale smell was very off-putting. We like to sit, chat, and enjoy the experience, but not with a smell like that. We will not be back, because they proved they do like like repeat business.

This place reminds me of an old school 50s-esque restaurant, which was awesome. The food was good. The patty melts are good along with the grilled chicken sandwich. We'll try the burgers next time. The fries were crispy and the twister desserts were great. I suggest the mint Oreo. The bathrooms and restaurant itself was clean and the staff were pleasant people. Prices are actually better than most places like this in the area. I'll go back.

I used to always come to this place as a kid. I recently went through the drive through, and ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and an onion ring. The lady taking the order said she will tell me the price at the window, so I drove up to the window and she told me the price was $26. Honestly there was no way I was paying $26 for such a small meal, so kindly I said no thank you. On the way out I hear a man yell out the window, so I stopped to look back and hear the owner attempting to chew me out for ordering the food and not wanting to pay because somehow within 15 seconds of driving from the order menu to the drive through window, the food was already prepaired and cooking. After leaving in disagreement, I called to straighten things up and apologize, to him saying he called the cops and was not easy to talk to by any means. Honestly the whole or deal was extremely excessive and difficult for no reason. You should be knowledgeable of your price before you go to the window. I will never go to this place again. It was such a difficult time for a...
