Jade Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Bellevue

Unfortunatly one of the best places to get chinese food in Bellevue. The staff is friendly, and though the prices seem a little high for the portion sizes and quality, they've a right to charge it since they have no serious competition i'm aware of. Their wings are look like something I could have gotten from KFC, and were served with a big tub of sweet-n-sour. I think I was suppose to dunk them? That was a first for me. The crab rangoons are very good, and the egg/spring/pork/veg rolls whatever they are are also very good. I've Eaten there several times so I'll try to describe each Their peanut butter chicken, it was a little dry, and came with rice. They have a chicken with vegetables. That mystery brown sauce the veg and chicken are in is decent, but the vegetables always seem a bit undercooked. This is one of the few dishes where the chicken isn't breaded first, too. The sesame chicken is alright. The sauce is sweet but not too sweet. The sweet n sour chicken is pretty standard. It's hard to improve on something basic, but also hard to screw it up, too. They have a punch card, that after you fill it up, you get a free entree, which is nice. All and all a fairly well rounded establishment. The addition of daily/weekly specials is also a nice chance to try something different and let the kitchen flex its muscle. I will be returning as long as I live...

A favorite vegan lunch or dinner spot!

Extensive menu which included not just Chinese but Malaysian, Korean and Indian dishes, too! Reason enough to come back, on their menu they actually list which dishes are-SHOCK-VEGAN, and they have a section that lists vegan dishes!! Not afraid to serve cruelty free dishes. Tofu proudly listed as an ingredient in several dishes, no need to ask for it as a meat substitute, but I did and ordered Broccoli Beef with Tofu instead of beef which my kids loved.On a second visit I ordered the Spicy Tofu bulgogi and it was WONDERFUL!!! My omnivore relative who tried a bite would not admit it, but my dish was even better than what he had ordered! Food every time we visit is prepared quickly. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The tofu was cooked well with a nice, crispy outside. Omnivore visitors with us have enjoyed their meals, too. Adults and teens were all pleased by the dishes. A cozy restaurant with a comfortable decor, perfect for quiet meals. Adults, teens and grandparents were all pleased by the dishes.

Great place for vegans to dine with omnivores....

Customer Service

I am a little too apathetic to take the time and write consumer reviews for a company, whether the experience was overly positive or negative. However, I felt honor-bound to praise Jade Palace for their outstanding customer service. The food is certainly good as well. I would say it stands out among most other "fast food" Asian cuisine restaurants. But what I value most among this restaurant's qualities is the service.

I was in the drive-through picking up a meal I ordered online, when the employee attending me said that the order will take slightly longer than expected. He insisted I come inside and have a beer while I wait. The beer was on the house! and the food was ready be the time I had finished. They are always kind and courteous on the phone and at the drive through window.

Like I said this is just a quality I value greatly. If you think kind customer service isn't important to you when deciding where to order Chinese, then that is fine. But I would urge you to try Jade Palace out,...
