Taco John's — Restaurant in Bellevue

I made an order to drive through. I ordered the special they have by one and get one for a dollar I ordered it everything burrito and then and everything burrito for a dollar. I also ordered one of their new apple desserts. Horrible food I got my order went home and we got one burrito and it wasn't even the one I ordered it was a potato and meat they didn't even ask me what kind of meat. No flavor tasted awful. Then the dessert I got was it even sealed in the box correctly all the Apple stuff on top of the tortilla was all over my bag all over my burrito. I couldn't even eat it number one and I ordered the buy one get one for a dollar cuz us feeding two people so we couldn't even eat. I called to speak to manager and their answer to me was well if you want to drive back here we can fix it. no I don't want to drive back there I live 10 and 1/2 mi away I got it on the way home from work. Other solution was oh I can send you some coupons in the mail. No I don't think I'll ever go there again and get any food it was disgusting. Shame on you you guys need to do better or train your help better.I was a chef for 38 years and I would never have served anything like that to any of my customers or to myself. Young lady would not take order and said it would be 7 minutes before she could. No explanation. I waited a couple of minutes and tried again to order thinking she just made an error, no big deal. She stated the same thing. Decided not to order. There was only one truck ahead of me. Only two bags given to that customer and only took about 4 minutes. When I drove by there were 4 young employees standing around. Do not go to this place. I will not and will encourage my friends and family to ditch it too. This site does no allow a video upload. As I do have a short one showing two of the employees not helping with the order.

This place will now be a hard miss. Had visited again for past couple of months and service and quality of food was good for American food. Tonight just blew it. Ordered a chicken taco salad. All lettuce, 5 pieces of jerky dried out chicken, 1/2 teaspoon of sour cream and lettuce was questionable. Only good thing was the house salsa and a good amount. I just wasted $8. Not enough chicken to meet the protein advertised. Shell was still crispy. Even the chicken super nachos was very dry and tough. Instead it was PBJ for dinner. Thanks for the wasted money that is...

Lots of vegan friendly options

Taco Johns is a small chain through the Midwest where we stop when traveling because there are several items on their menu that are vegan friendly, from Bean burritos to bean tostadas etc. They even come out and say on their web site that their refried beans are vegan!! Their potato ole also are listed as "no allergen" so they are vegan, too!

I heard on the radio something about Taco Tuesday so I called and crispy tacos are on sale on Tuesday. So I asked if I could get mine with beans instead of beef and was told yes. Then I asked if I could substitute potatoes for beef for the Taco Tuesday price and again was told yes!

If you like tacos, for the price, this is a great fast food vegan option. Beans are high in fiber and protein and no cholesterol, so I am always happy when food on the road is this easy. The potatoes are really good, too, in fact for just .30 more I could have ordered a bean instead of beef taco and added the potato, I might do that next time!

The clerk was VERY nice, helpful and ensured my order was made without cheese. I will visit this restaurant again, especially on...
