It was not my first time at the Loaded Cafe, and I wanted a light breakfast this Thursday morning, so I visited them. I arrived at around 10:50 am, and the place was busy, or at least it looked like it because once I opened the front door, there was a line of people waiting to check in. The employees were busy, and once they had a break from serving food to tables, they came to the front and had us check-in. I couldn't help but notice a good amount of open tables in the back, so I didn't understand why they couldn't seat the people in front of me. They must have been low staff today because it took them 20 minutes for me (only me) to get a table, and the table I sat at had been open since I arrived.

Mr. Malaquin gave me the menu, and I told him I already knew what I wanted and ordered their Guacamole Toast with Eggs (Sunny side up). About 5 minutes later, Mr. Malaquin came to my table and gave me a complimentary pan dulce. I did not eat it but asked for a box to take it with me. I was unsurprised that my meal took another 20 minutes to be delivered to my table.

My food looked delicious; the chef did a good job cooking an actual sunny-side-up egg because I've had it in other restaurants where they thoroughly cook the yolk. The guacamole was freshly made and with a hint of spice. My total bill came out to be $18.56 without a tip, which I thought was a little steep, but I still gave a good tip to my waiter, Mr. Malaquin, because he provided excellent service to me.

In conclusion, I arrived at 10:50 am and left at 11:39 (check my receipt for the timestamp). I didn't think I would be there for nearly an hour for just a Guacamole Toast and Eggs, but it is what it is. I understand that this place has a hype vibe on social media, and they are busy because of it, but this place needs to be a bit more organized in the check-in process. Waiters serving food and checking in people when they have a breathing room doesn't seem like an excellent system. Especially when customers can see open tables in the background, which could be a little frustrating to see. But my food was great, and I enjoyed it, and honestly, my waiter, Mr. Malaquin, was the guy who saved this day. I'll come back again and give an update on the same day, and at the same time, I came in today in the near future to see if there are...

I personally had a better experience during the weekend than on the Tuesday morning I went with my sister. On the weekend, my family arrived around 9am and waited for about 20 min before being seated, there was already quite a lot of people before us but the host let us know he would seat us as soon as possible which was great to feel acknowledged when you're waiting for a long time. As soon as we were seated a very kind and friendly waitress greeted us and took our drink order. She was very quick to bring our drinks and told us she wouldd be ready to take our order when we were. She took our order no later than 10 minutes from sitting down and it came within 15 minutes of ordering. It was well served and we had no problems. Food was great, service was fast, overall a great first experience. BUT later in the week I took my sister and baby nephew on a Tuesday around 10am, We waited for 15 minutes even tho there was clearly an open table by the window. When we were seated the host said a waitress would take our order but never came. Later he too took our food and drink order. Coffee was cold, food came about 40 min after, her dish was missing sour cream and when we asked the waitress she said it was extra. The second cup of coffee tasted very bitter like it was the remaining bottom of the pot. So my recommendation is to go weekends rather than during the week to experience a better quality of service. Either way, they're good choices and combinations are great and would highly recommend...

Great food overall but the service could improve a lot, the server who welcomed us wanted to sit us in the first booth close to the entrance of the restaurant so I requested to be sat further inside where we could not feel the cold breeze since it’s a cold & rainy day, she gave us an attitude for requesting this, my wife order a hot water and got ice water, we order two main breakfast meals and only got one and then she insisted that I only order one that’s so dumb in my opinion when there’s two people sitting down to eat, so we had to wait an additional time to get the second main meal. My suggestions is to train your servers properly, I could see very clearly that this server does NOT understand what “customer service” is and how the customer needs to be treated. Repeat the order to the customer to make sure that you understood correctly what they order and if the customer wants to sit at a different place that they want I recommend you accommodate them since they’re paying customers that can potentially give a tip for your excellent service. Remember the golden rule “The customer is ALWAYS right” no customers, no business!!! I will NOT ever go back to this specific restaurant just because of this low quality of service but regardless I still gave her $10 tip, even though I felt tempted not to leave one cent. I believe it’s the management fault she’s not...

@loadedcafe is where I’m recommending for your next meal. It’s traditional American Cuisine (burgers, salads, full breakfasts) with a touch of Mexican Flavor, as a matter of fact their Asada Chilaquiles with spicy red salsa were AWESOME and what I will order again next time! . 📍GARDENA 📍LONG BEACH 📍LAWNDALE 📍BELLFLOWER 📍SANTA ANA (McFadden Ave) 📍SANTA ANA (First St.) 📍PLACENTIA (NEWEST location) 📍ORANGE (opening soon) 📍BELL (opening soon)
