PJ's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Bellingham

The food was great, but the service was sooooo slow. Our server was nice, but it took forever to get all the drinks out to our table at first. It was only three of us, and we ordered two sodas and a glass of wine. The sodas came out a few minutes later, then a good 4-5 minutes later came the single glass of wine. It took about another 40 minutes after that to be served our food, and when they brought the food out they completely forgot to give my father his side of French fries. The side took another 7 or so minutes to come out. The family that was sitting next to us had gotten up and left, and due to their two toddler aged children, there was a mess left to clean up. Quite a few employees walked by and didn't even pay any mind to it, while there were two hostesses doing nothing at the front while there was a small line of people out the door. Halfway through the meal, my mom asked for a refill on her glass of wine and they brought her out some red wine instead of the Chardonnay that she had ordered previously (and it took a few more minutes to get the red wine to us, then a few more minutes for the right wine to come out). At the end, the server finally brought the bill up to us, and it took forever to get the server back to us to actually take the payment. My mom ended up walking up to the hostesses to see if they could take our payment but they either didn't know how to or didn't have the ability to do so, so she came back to the table to wait a bit longer. I guess it took so long because the cook was having an off day, which I totally get. We all have our bad days. I just think the staff needs some...

Just want to give a shoutout to how awesome this place is. I’ve been here several times and always had great meals. Today, I had an awful one and expressed to the waitress how I felt over the meal. I told her it was no worries. They offered me a new meal/one to take home. I declined but a few minutes went by and the chef came out with a new one for me to take home. It was awesome, I hate complaining so I never want to be that person. Some guy from the bar came over twice as well, asked what my girlfriend had and what I had before the chef came back (felt like it was the owner). I got home and had a few bites and it was 10/10!!!

If you’re ever in the Bellingham/franklin area please stop in! The food is always delicious, staff is wonderful, and a great vibe. I recommend the tater tots, clam chowder, Mac and cheese, the Philly avocado wrap, California...

This place is pretty black and white for me. Excellent burgers, appetizers, tater tots, mac and cheese, Caribbean shrimp salad (other salads are just ok), and California chicken sandwich. Good beer selection and a fun bar. Everything else is just ok at best. Streak tips look good, but I've never seen anyone finish them (I'm a nosey diner). They do not know how to cook veggies, and I don't think they care. Baby carrots the other day were rubbery and covered in season salt and defeated the purpose of having something healthy on the table for my kids (they were happy with their burger and quesadilla anyway). Turkey tips are awful - rubbery and over seasoned. We go here every once and a while and come back for the burgers, but every once and a while I make the mistake of vearing from my aforementioned list, and...
