The Spice Hut — Restaurant in Bellingham

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The lady working was super rude and unhelpful. I was harassed by the “man” she was chatting with at the front of the store(looked to be a friend of hers by their conversation). I walked up the the front asking her about purchasing a tea when the man proceeded to tell me to leave the store as well as be extremely rude and degrading (again he was a customer not an employee) she continued to stand there while he rudely treated me this way. I asked her if that’s how they handle people harassing others in their store and she just stood there while he rudely was yelling for me to leave the store. What the actual heck Spice hut!? This was my first time walking in this business and I will never again.

Also that is incorrect Information in your rekey comment and not how it happened so you were misinformed. Thank you for trying to defend your business and not apologize and make right to the customer who was so rudely mistreated in your shop. Your moral ethics are extremely saddening. Love the looseleaf teas (huge selection) and spices here! Some of my favorite teas are: Assam Daybreak, Chocolate Mint, Washington Apple Green Tea, Creamy Caramel Rooibos Tea. Looseleaf tea is SO much better than tea bags. Some of my favorite spice blends are: Moroccan, Curry in a Hurry, Herbes de Provence (great for omelettes and roast chicken), Thai Seasoning, Tandoori Masala and Luigi's Italiano Spice. Using the spice blends makes it much quicker when cooking and the results more delicious. You can genuinely feel the passion she has for both her business and her tea—it’s inspiring and makes the whole experience even more special.
