Ordered online. Got to the restaurant and waited in line for five minutes . Got to the server and explained that I had an online order and also wanted to know the price of the lava cakes (they weren't on the online menu and but were on the store menu and sounded good). She told me their online orders don't usually pop up for them, so there would be a wait as they made my food. She got the order uploaded and looked up the price of the lava cakes. She said, "We could throw one in, if you like." I said, "Well there are two of us, so if you'd throw one in, I'll gladly buy a second." She rang them up and told me my total would be $14.xx. She went to deliver an order. When she came back, I explained that I had thought she was planning on comping one. She gave a short laugh and said, "no". I told her to go ahead and cancel the dessert and sat down to wait for my order. Fifteen minutes later and I'm still waiting....
To be clear, I'm not upset about not getting something comped or the miscommunication. But, I an upset that it's so matter of fact that the website tells me my order will be ready at 7:33 and I'm sitting here at 7:53 with no food in sight and this seems to be a normal, unapologetic part of the way this business is run. Read moreI ordered The Pairing which costs 29.95 plus tax which was 33.00. The Pairing comes with half chicken, 2 kebabs, 4 wings and 2 regular sides which makes sense for the price. Me and my boyfriend waited for our meal for about 20 to 30 minutes. My boyfriend asked for our meal and they said they were still working on it, i then realize each and every table had not been cleaned while we were there, I see that other customers aren’t having an enjoyable experience either, hearing people saying they wanted a refund and I was nervous, hoping our food would be good.
Finally the waitress brings one plate of chicken and one plate of very small wings with barely any meat on them. Our sides were coleslaw and salad which came out lukewarm and we did not receive our kebabs. We talked to the waitress and she said that the manager took away their benefits, are made to work on holidays and there are only three people working, only one person cooking! During my second visit today, I ordered a half a chicken and a baked potato. Waited in the dining room for about 30 minutes. The employee came out to tell us that the potatoes would not be ready for our order and offered something else. We chose the salad. 10 more minutes goes by and they bring the half chicken and salad. When I start eating the chicken it again tasted like it was reheated. When we broke up the chicken, the breast meat seemed to have been removed and only a tiny piece of white meat was left. The rest of the "breast" was bones and skin. It seemed as thou the breast meat from my chicken was used for something else like a salad or wrap maybe.
