Hobby Lobby — Local services in Bellingham

I know it's a new location, however the level of incompetence is astounding. I built a live edge dresser based off of the dimensions of a wicker basket I purchased from hobby lobby 11/15/18 - Where the Asst. Mngr wrote me up a Rain Check for 7 more (needed 8 to be the drawers on this new dresser). She assured me that they'd be in the store in 2 weeks, they'd call and let me know. -Fast forward 15 days - I was in town and stopped by and the Mngr said that he'd told the asst. mngr to call me and tell me that they couldn't order that many of them (because they're nested boxes) - I said I understood, he had another employee take me back and find something else that would work instead and said he'd honor the same price point. Great! We looked, found something else, got another rain check and told that it'd be in - in another 2 weeks.

Fast forward to today. 12/14/18 - Sorry we didn't order those (I basically got the message that I was supposed to get a month ago) - I talk to the manager, who basically said whoops, we can order them now. No thanks, I've waited over a freaking month - the project has been done sitting here waiting on baskets. This is why people shop online, Amazon carries everything that Hobby Lobby does, you go to put it in the shopping cart and if it's not there in the inventory it lets you know.

The people were nice, just new and not very good at providing a useful experience. Communication is key people. If you weren't going to order them the 2nd time I came in. Just say so, I would have found something else in the last 2 weeks I've patiently...

I enjoyed doing some final Christmas shopping on Thursday December 22nd with winds that must have been 60mph plus gusts putting a wind-chill of -7° to -9°. That being said, the staff that was there were pleasant and never heard one person complaining about the storm outside. They seemed like they could have used at least one more person for cashiering at peak times, but as I waited for an item to be pulled from out back I really didn't notice anyone disgruntled.
