I got a bacon breakfast wrap. I asked what was inside it other than egg and bacon and she said nothing. I took a bite into the wrap and it was filled with potato. Hardly any egg or bacon. I'm slightly allergic to potato which is why I asked if there was anything else in the wrap. Would not recommend and would not go back.
Edit: I have a lot of food allergies which is why I intentionally look for signage. The signage did NOT have a list of ingredients. When I asked the staff member if there was anything besides egg and bacon in the bacon breakfast wrap she said no. To be honest she looks like she didn't want to be there. Was overall an unpleasant experience. Why would I change my review just because you do not agree with me. I am not driving the 40 mins back from Canada for a refund. Nor will I visit again on my next States shopping trip. I resent the fact that you responded saying I should. Not a good look really. Having worked in customer service myself for 20 plus years, I was just very...
Read moreThis donut/coffee shop is super cute! There are a few large tables with benches and some smaller low tables with cushioned chairs - I liked the cozy feel at the small tables. They have a few other baked goods besides donuts too. The barista was really cheerful and made me feel welcome, fitting right in with the bubbly aesthetic. I got a blackberry muffin and a maple bar latte to go with. The muffin was amazing - it had so many juicy berries inside and the flavour and crumb of the muffin part was also very nice! There was a light crumble topping and I liked that it added some texture but didn’t overpower the actual muffin as some crumbles do. The maple bar latte was also delicious - it’s sweet (not as much as I thought it might be, though) and rich but made with quality maple cream so I found it didn’t have a sugary aftertaste like a lot of drinks made with syrup do, and it made an excellent treat. You get 50 cents off if you bring...
Read moreBeen to Maple Bar several times over the last year and everything I've drank or eaten has been delicious. I love the monthly drink flavors to look forward to and the variety in donut bars. As a baker I can tell they use quality ingredients to get a perfectly soft, pillowy and non-greasy donut. I appreciate seeing they allow staff to express themselves with clothing/hair/makeup. The vibes are calm and non-pretentious; a rarity for most newer cafes in Bellingham. There wasn't an open table when I came in but the owner was kind enough to move her work so that I could have a table to myself. On top of this, the prices are reasonable and seem to reflect the needs of student budgets like myself. It's nice to have a coffee shop in town with some personality and eccentricity in the decor, serving ware,...
