Arrival Time: 19:09 Emergency Response Time- 19:24 Belarmar Police Department

• Entered through side and or back door. Gentlemen (2) who were standing at door did not ID me nor offered me a table to sit down. Asked if I was drinking, I replied no. Stood next to the popcorn machine to the right of the door. 1 unidentified "bouncer" who was standing at the door upon arrival approached me and asked if I was ordering something 2 eat. I responded I was unsure of what I wanted at the moment. Then, he stated "if you're not drinking, sitting at the bar or ordering something you have to leave. They don't want you here, it's "private" property. If you dont leave, im going to call the cops." I replied "the bar is full, that's why i am sitting here. And okay, call the cops." Then patiently waited in the same area for local law enforcement to arrive. • Strong possible basic civil and human rights violation? • No fair or equal opportunity to take my time, sit down and have a chance to look at the menu. Unwelcoming management. • No signage to enforce "private" property rules and regulations • Escorted off property by officers and was threatened by statements including "if you don't leave in a few seconds, I am going to lock you up for trespassing."
