Club Diner — Restaurant in Bellmawr

I took my son here at 5:00am on the 17th. It was my Birthday as well. It was freezing inside the restaurant! They waitress took our order. My son ordered "The Works". He said his sausage tasted bad. My order came to our table completly wrong- I ordered Eggs benedict. I asked her if they were out of bagels and bacon because my order was wrong. She proceeded to tell me the english muffin was a bagel. (The canadian bacon was a mistake as well as the eggs being overcooked). Hmm okay. After showing her by removing everything, she said it was the chef's fault she told him how I ordered it. Not wanting to take the chance of a spit in my food(not to say someone would do so however, always a thought in the back of my mind) I decided to just take off the canadian bacon and eat what I had received. (The waitress gave us our food with the check. I paid before eating via debit along with giving her a $10. cash tip anyway. I ate half of the one English muffin/egg etc. within 5 mins I ran to the bathroom and threw my guts up! My waitress had already left. I got back to the table and told my son we were leaving. Afterwards we went to a different diner and had a great meal!!!!! I called the diner around 1pm and spoke to Bob the manager to inform him of the incident and my getting really sick. I felt great after I threw up and fine the rest of the day. He said he will comp. Me a meal at a later visit.. He didn't take my info or etc. I did give him my receipt info. All in all I am very disappointed with my visit and the lack of true concern! They served me bad food! It was supposed to be a nice qt early time with my son and all was ruined!!! I will not be going back!!!! Here's to the $36. And change it cost me to basically write this review... Ok let me tell you what happened today at this place. My girlfriend and I came by to eat dinner, we walked in and the hostess was very nice. She greeted us with a smile and she had a great attitude, I can't say that about our waitress. She came over with a personality like she had better things to do and she made you feel very uncomfortable if you had questions or by your appearance. We ordered and waited for our drinks, I ordered a soda and my girlfriend ordered a hot chocolate. The drinks came and that hot chocolate was a mess, chocolate coming all down the cup and the drink just looked sloppy. My girlfriend started drinking the hot chocolate after 5 mins of letting it sit at that point it wasn't hot chocolate anymore , it was chocolate milk. We kept it to ourselves and then when the food came that was were the entertainment began. The waitress knocked over the chocolate milk all over my girlfriends pants, brought over some napkins that obviously wasn't going to erase the stain the chocolate made. We decided to leave because the experience was so horrible we didn't even stay to eat the food. we said we were gonna leave, we will pay for the drinks but all the waitress was saying was what about your food?. Why would i wanna eat in your place after a horrible experience and with chocolate all over your pants? So we left and will never return, the service from that waitress was beyond horrible and that reflects on the place...

Service: Phenomenal, perfect, and great personality. Was cracking jokes with us. She gave us time and didn't rush us, even though they close at 10 pm (wasn't aware of the hours, think of Diners open 24 hours) and we were there after 9 pm.

Food: menu is extensive for a Diner, with tons of options, another positive is that Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served all day long. I got a Junior option, one deviled Crab cake (boiled or fried with a side of tartar and cocktail sauce), comes with soup or salad, two sides and a dessert. I got the salad, fries, and corn, with strawberry ice cream with whipped cream for dessert. My Dad got the baked meatloaf that came with 3 huge slices, 2 sides, soup/salad, and dessert, my Dad chose corn and whipped potatoes, lobster bisque, and mint chocolate chip ice cream with whipped cream! Our meals came out fast, were perfectly cooked and at a great temperature. We ended up needing to take home boxes.

Would definitely recommend and would absolutely visit for another meal.
