We usually go to the Sam's in S. FtWorth or Burleson. We thought since we was in Waco we would do our shopping at this Sam's. I am in a wheelchair and my husband has issues with his legs so he uses a scooter cart. I push a cart with my feet. When we 1st came in there were no carts. The girl working on the shopping carts just said they are all gone. Didn't offer to help find one. So off we went to the parking lot to find a scooter cart. ( we should have left then) As we were shopping we came across 2 guys standing at the end of the aisle texting on their phones. Not doing anything but playing on there phone. ( should have left then) the whole time in the store we only had 1 guy in the meat department ask if he could help me. Several times employees watched as I struggled getting thing in the cart. I think we were just entertaining them. My basket was full my husband's cart was full. We paid for our things and headed out of the store. After spending over 400.00 dollars. We went right past a cart pusher. Thinking he would offer to help will think again he was in a conversation with a lady in front of us. As we struggled to get everything in the car. That took us 15 minutes. I looked at my watch. He stared at us watched us struggle trying to get everything in the car. Never once stop and help. Just watched us. There was a ton of carts in the parking lot, cars were having to go around them. One poor guy was working and this guy just talked and talked. While watching us and the poor guy working. I took a picture of the guy and one of the carts to show you this is true. At the Sam's we normally go to people are always asking if they can help us. We have even had employees push the cart for me through the store.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know if it was just a bad day for them or what. But the tire and battery center associate was extremely unhelpful. Iāll give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe just having a bad day. Just wanted to test my battery and to know if it was still under warranty. Went out and pulled my car all the way back around to parking spot near TBC. Barely helped me with it. Checked it and all he said was āItās badā and just stared at me. Told me he could only check the warranty with paper receipt and that Iād maybe have to go to Membership to look up purchase history (afterwards I called a Samās Club TBC in Austin and they looked up all the info I was looking for on their computer and very super helpful over the phone) So they canāt do that at this Samās Club?? Weird. I then took it to an Autozone across the street and they tested it and the battery was perfectly fine. It was at 97%. Checked it again at another auto shop near by. Comes out just fine. I hate leaving negative reviews for context. Thatās how negative of an experience this was. Maybe try to do a bit better. Even a friendly smile goes a long way. I know Iāll probably just get a generic response back from management and thatās whatever. But just be more friendly. Even the Membership desk associates always look miserable. Itās always uncomfortable going up to them. Itās a great clean store with lots of great merchandise, so they do have that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe love Sam's Club. It is one of our favorite places to shop. This review is about the cafeteria, not the store. I dislike giving negative reviews, but this cafeteria has definitely earned it.
We stopped here just for a pizza combo. It was not an isolated incident as this was the second time that we have had this experience at this store. The pizza is the second worst that we have ever had at Sam's. The worst was at a Sam's in El Paso, but that's another review. There was almost no cheese, with bare spots all over the pizza pieces. The outer 2 inches had no cheese or toppings. It was not all piled in the middle, it just was not there.
They were out of Dr. Pepper and half of the other soft drinks last time and were still out of many of them this time. There were two cup lids and very few straws available, and they were not busy.
Thankfully, this is not our regular store, just a store we stop at while travelling. It is very disappointing seeing the difference in quality between stores, and to see that this store in Waco is consistently poor in quality.
Update: We are now living near Waco and this is now our primary Sam's Club. For the past year, the cafeteria experience had been much better. Alas, that all changed recently when the cafeteria closed for a week with no notice. It has now returned to the way it was...
