If you're a fan of mouthwatering sandwiches, you absolutely need to check out the new pastrami shop in town! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem.
The standout feature here is undoubtedly the pastrami itself. It’s tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, making each bite a delightful experience. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in his craft, as the pastrami is sliced to perfection and piled high.
The menu offers a variety of options, from classic pastrami on rye to unique creations that showcase their creativity, such as the brisket dip and the pastrami melt that’s a must-try. Pair your sandwich with a side of poutine fries, and you have a meal that’s nothing short of spectacular.
What sets this shop apart, though, is the warm and welcoming service. Kevin and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their food, always ready to recommend their favorites or customize your order to your liking.
Overall, Beeg’s shop is a delightful addition to the community. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or looking for a new favorite spot, this place is sure to impress. Don’t miss out on a chance to experience pastrami perfection!

Read moreIf you eat meat and haven't been here, what are you even doing with your life?? I had the Reuben and the mini poutine. First off, thankyou for making a mini version. The gravy,HELLO! SO much flavor and with the crispy (but not crunchy or dry) fresh potatoes...and yes you can tell they're real, NOT FROZEN (LOVE). Pleasantly surprised. Now the reuben...the pastrami, so thick 😍 but not dry or rubbery. Ugh so tender and the pickled red onion! Just enough acid to cut an otherwise very heavy sandwich, def not expected but def want more of it. The cheese &the Russian dressing didn't overpower the heavenly taste of the meat, this was so balanced but yet each bite was another realization of the different flavors developing on your taste buds. I'm so glad I came by bc this will definitely be on my hit list whenever I come down.
If you haven't been here yet then you're lame and depriving yourself. This place is exactly what you want when you come down the shore. Casual laid back vibe, outdoor seating, fair prices for GREAT food and GREAT staff. The 2 guys that helped me were helpful, funny and super nice. I wish I got their names to shout them out but I'll find out when I go back. So get down to the little red barn, grab a cold one and make it the perfect...

If you are trying to compare this to the specifications of a NY pastrami or corned beef, you may be disappointed. But it’s kind of like saying you didn’t like a cheeseburger because it didn’t taste like a cheesesteak. Yes, it’s beef but it’s different!
Personally, I love NY pastrami and corned beef but also smoked meat because its unique spices and curing. If you like a NY corned beef, try your smoked meat lean. If you like a fatty pastrami, order your smoked meat fatty. Not sure, order it regular.
A tip for the very budget conscious, get a pound of meat for $30, pick up a loaf of good Jewish rye at the supermarket or bakery and have four quarter pound sandwiches at home for a fraction of the price. Don’t forget the yellow mustard.
Kudos to the owner and his staff. Best of luck to you. I will try the poutine next time I’m in town.
All credit cards taken. Not really a place to eat in. Plan...
