This was my second visit on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The place was busy with only one person working. Limited choices! I ordered a small cup with 2 scoops (black cherry and peach). I was with a friend and the girl put 2 cups in front of me at the register. I thought it was my friends order also and since she paid for lunch, I was going to pay for her order. I paid $15 (w/tip) and discovered it was just my order and did not include my friends. The girl asked us if it was separate and we thought she meant our bills, not the gelato since i was specific about a small double. When I questioned the girl, she did not offer any compensation and the line was still long. For $15, I could have gone to the store for 3 different ice creams in 3 different flavors. This is a wonderfully simple, old-fashioned style ice cream shop. Their gelato is fresh, rich, and creamy. They have 4 gluten-free options as well as sorbet. Their flavors rotate weekly and are unique. You can tell the owners put time and much thought into developing each one. Our friend's daughter has Celiac disease, and they knew exactly how to serve her, stating that the owner made sure they were all trained in how to serve people who have such needs. We were so happy to find this gem! The gelato is delicious and they have creative flavors (the lemon rosemary sorbet was so refreshing), the store is clean and bright, and Max behind the counter was so helpful and friendly and let us try a bunch of flavors before deciding. We had a tween with us who had never had gelato and she loved being able to taste a few flavors, and Max offered to take our photo in front of the cool art on the wall too (so thoughtful, thank you!)
