Came in to eat at about midnight because Neno was one of the few restaurants open this late. Me and my fiance work late and don't have very many options usually so I was thrilled to see a restaurant with good reviews open! Me and the fiance placed our order after sitting down, service was okay but a little non caring to say the least, busy with private conversations. We received out food in a to go bag, which was confusing. My fiance asked if dine in wasn't allowed and the server said that was correct. As we pack to leave (On our bike no less, not great getting food and a horchata home) I turn to see another customer who came in after us eating her food at a back table and chatting with the servers behind the counter. I'm not a fan of favoritism. Also after getting home we realized the order was incorrect and didn't include a lot of the mentioned ingredients. Overall it was a truly aweful experience and I would not recommend eating here if you enjoy a nice atmosphere and attentive staff. I really can't understand how this was a runner up for best restaurants of 2023. If you want to run a take out busines then advertise yourself as such so people don't waste their valuable time or money on such a sub...
Read moreI'm from Texas and have been spoiled and graced by tacos from Mexico and when I moved here I've been countlessly disappointed by the "Authentic Mexican Restaurants" around here until this place, I was skeptical at first because of the other places but when I opened my box of tacos my girl brought home the tears were uncontrollable. I took one bite and was transported back to Mexico to my grandparents ranch I rammed each saucy boy down my bird throat with such gusto my girl later quoted that I looked like a starved third world man who was just introduced to salt and pepper. It doesn't get more authentic than this place, I wouldn't take my father anywhere else in this state than here for tacos so that he wouldn't feel disrespected by the local Mexicans. I'm ashamed of myself for not eating here sooner this place has become our Wednesday ritual. You can feel how much love is made to each masterfully crafted taco and if you eat their tacos and think differently your probably a person who thinks mayo is spicy. One last thing their salsa is spicy they make that with mountain chili I recognize the flavor from anywhere and salsa doesn't get more real than that it turns boy into men and girls into...
Read moreNormally the best chimichangas since We lived in Texas . But...Ordered for delivery. We usually absolutely love their food. Used to be very generous. Last 2 times, spent $40 for 2 Chimichanga meals and 1 $13.00 steak nachos. No cheese sauce on Chimichangas. Plus, they used to give you 2 full Chimichangas.. now it is 1 1/2... Here's the best part. There was NO CHEESE on $13.00 Beef Nachos. Or Chimichangas. Not sause, not shredded, none. NO CHEESE on NACHOS...WHAT??? Nachos were smothered in SOUR CREAM. NOT CHEESE. (SEE PICS) I called the restaurant, & the girl said they ran out of cheese.. she would have manager call me back. No call. I love their food, so tried again about a month later. SAME EXACT THING, No cheese..at all. What mexican restaurant takes cheese completely off every normally cheesy item? Also, mexican street corn was plain corn.with dollop of white stuff (mayo, sour cream?) dont know, really. That was it. Then plain canned corn for $5.00 Is sad, because they used to be ny favorite restaurant, and request for chips and salsa is...
