Smitty's Pizza IIII — Restaurant in Belpre

Ordered here tonight and I gotta say definitely have had better service at this establishment. I ordered a large BLT sub which was delicious I’m definitely not knocking the food as always amazing, my wife ordered a salad which she was going to take to work with her. However the service tonight was far from what was expected from a restaurant. My order arrived before the eta time which was nice however I only received the sub that was ordered. I was able to catch the driver before they left and was told they’d bring it right back. Well this is where things get a little ridiculous. So instead of bringing my salad to me since you know I’ve already received half my order no what they decide to do is to go take other deliveries before bringing me the remaining items to my order. So 30 minutes had gone by and decided it was time to call the store and see what was going on. A lady answered the phone and said yeah it’s on the way I was like ok good but 30 minutes later is kinda over the top. I only live 2.5 miles away from the store just wanna make sure it’s not like I live clear out in the middle of nowhere. So the lady then begins to tell me that the driver had other deliveries to make as I’m sure most of you will agree that’s not acceptable. I have eaten at smitty’s for most of my life like I’m sure most of you have. It literally took them an additional 45 minutes to deliver the remaining items...

I'll start by saying the wings were really good as was the other food. And the female employee was very nice. The Male employee, on the other hand, not so much. Called three times from 2 different phones. Both times there was lots of interference on the line. He said "Hello hello " a couple times then hung up. I honestly thought maybe he was playing deadf because he didn't want to make an order. The third time instead of something professional such as "I'm sorry, we seem to be having problems with our phone line" he said "Listen, I can't hear you. Stop calling if you can't order. " When my husband went in to order in person and asked if the guy could hear him now, the female employee apologized and said they have bee having problems with the phone line, that management was aware but was unwilling to spend the money to fix it. I'm honestly still unsure whether it was the phone or...

The pizza is freshly made to order and was delicious. But, the employees were another thing. Not once did they smile or even say "Welcome to Smittys". They didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink, in fact they never spoke. When my friend went to the counter to ask for water she stood there for awhile before they even acknowledged her and there was even an employee standing at the corner of the counter. She finally had to call out so someone would wait on her. The employees were sullen, unfriendly, and acted as if we were bothering them. There's a Caeser's pizza across the road and a Pizza Hut a few blocks away. That's where we'll go...
