Ruby Tearoom — Restaurant in Belton

My friend and I wanted to try this place out for my birthday, but this year it fell on a Wednesday and the tea service is available only on weekends. Thankfully they offer these super cute tea boxes that you can order (in advance) for your own little afternoon tea wherever! The ones we had included macarons, a scone, tea sandwiches, and some other baked sweets, along with a cute little jar of honey. And it also comes with some of their in-house tea blends to brew as well (they were wonderful!) I loved it all but the cucumber tea sandwich is one of my all time favorites, and they knocked it out of the park. I also want to commend them on being so friendly and accommodating! They came in on their off day so I could pick up the boxes and were so kind even after I was late getting there to pick them up. They also followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything went well with the order. Next time I want to order the boxes for a picnic date, and I’m currently eyeing their upcoming events so I can experience the tea service in all its glory. Rubys Tea Room gave my wife and I the most wonderful Tea experience. I have always loved having tea parties from being a young girl with my grandmother and let me tell you.. this experience literally brought me to tears, everything is so thoughtfully curated from the napkins and tea pots to the beautiful Tea selection and just scrumptious food! There are several Teas to choose from ranging from high caffeine to no caffeine! The food, man oh man the food was just ahhhmazing. A wonderful balance of sweet and savory flavors, each course bringing new flavors to the table(quite literally). RTR surpassed my expectations from communicating the details on the down low to helping guide the desired theme and all the day of details such as flowers, signage, custom cake, decorations, and of course the wonderful, tasty teas and bites!
