Excellent, well maintained park! City is constantly adding new features to improve your experience! Man made Rapids for tubing or kayaking, potty bag dispensers for your pet waste, an adorable Old West themed SPLASH PAD and pavilion easily able to host parties of 80 people! Has W/M bathrooms, fountain, medium playground with shredded rubber flooring, swings, tables with covered tops along splashed and under pavilion. New BBQ grills, benches, trees, etc. are continuously being placed throughout the park. Bathrooms are 7+/10 with cleanliness year round, and the park provides plenty of trashcans for public use. Clean grass, sticker/bur free, water fountains placed throughout the park along the elongated trail (I think 2 miles long almost?) And excessive amounts of shade! Seriously! I utilize the park for dog training weekly, and if we ever have a problem the Sheriff's department and BPD are literally a block or 2 away!

Love going to this park in the early morning. The sun is just raising and lots of people exercising with their fur babies. The park does have some ducks that want to be feed. The park is very clean and the ground keeping crew is always working on keeping it beautiful. The trail along the creek is a great place to relax and unwind to start or end the day. You can take some unbelievable pictures as if you were some where else but not in Belton. It's a must on your list to go in Belton.

Yettie Polk Park has always been one of our local favorite spots to go to. It has so much to offer. Multiple basketball courts, hiking and biking trail, playground, gazebo ( you can reserve that with the city as well for private events) easy access to the Nolancreek to cool off in. Not to mention all the great restaurants downtown that are attached to the trail with easy access.

Excellent park. Newer to the area, I haven't lived in a place that's had quality, kept parks. Trees are good for shade, dog park is solid and plenty of fields and parking! I've gone for kickball practices for a work competition (sounds lame, but it's been pretty neat). Today I believe all the fields with stands in the front were full of league stuff (kids and the like), but our field in the back was open. I think another one was, too. I don't think we reserved the field. What we used was scrappy and awesome. I think you being your own bases if you want them. Kids loved the playground. Lot's of doggies and their people, even on a hot day. Nice...

I love this park has a lot of activity. perfect for runners or for parents who want to take their children to the park to play there's a little river nearby that I've seen people tubing down or fishing. There are also basketball courts for those who want to play and even some type of sit-down area that I've seen them doing certain services. it seems like a good place to have a birthday party I see a lot of birthday parties as well especially on the weekends. or definitely recommend the park to those look on the area great place to intermingle and even get...
