Eagle Donuts — Restaurant in Benbrook

The place was very clean, well lit and inviting. Donuts looks great. I ordered 3 dozen assorted donuts. The guy asked me if I wanted several kinds, I said yes. This is where it got strange. When he rang up my order he was counting donuts and charging them on individual prices. I asked if they had a price for assorted donuts. He said no and since there were multiple kinds of donuts in each box he had to charge the individual price. He counted two dozen and the price was almost $49. I asked why he was counting them like that. He said he could put all the glazed in one box then he could charge me the glazed price. I felt like I was in a comedy show. I am not sure what was going on. But the whole encounter took almost 30 minutes. I wasn’t sure what was going on or if I was missing something. The prices on the menu were not the prices I was being charged. It was definitely one of the weirdest experiences I ever had trying...

This is the best customer service I have ever had! Not only are the donuts in my opinion the BEST but they are the sweetest people! My sons birthday was today and I had ordered the happy birthday donuts but woke up feeling very sick. I was so upset so I reached out to them and her husband came and delivered them to my door at no extra cost! They came through above and beyond for me and my family! Thank you SO much...

Have been going here for years--has always been great (excellent donuts and sausage rolls, etc.). But, picked up a large order today for work and was quite disappointed: assorted cake/buttermilk donuts were very greasy--office folks commented too. I also noticed cake donuts were smaller than other shops...shrink-flation? I hope this was an isolated instance, but if not, then...
