Luxe Nail Bar — Local services in Benbrook

I have gone to Luxe since I moved to Benbrook over a year ago. I usually get Emily, she's awesome. She always remembered me, and knew what I wanted, and made good suggestions. I talked to Diana and she did my nails once when I was a walk in and Emily was busy, She made me laugh so hard I didn't think I could breath, so is a wonderful lady.

When I went in last month, they told me that Emily no longer worked there and Diana wasn't there, so I had to use another tech. I believe the name on her kit started with a "V") She was rude. She got in my face at least twice. She was very rough with me. I have some issues with my hands so it really hurt. I tried to say something, and I was nice about it, not mean or demanding, she just rolled her eyes and kept working. The job that she did was horrible. They are thick, and the colors were not done correctly. On just about every nail the sides aren't even done. When I asked her about how she was doing it, she very rudely said she knew what she was doing and asked me do I do nails, when I said no, she said well just let me do it.

My thumb nails and some of the others are actually stuck to my nail bed, to the point where I can not clean them. I finally have some time and I'm going to another salon to get them removed. I will never go to Luxe again, and that's a shame because I really loved the place. I hope I can find Emily again, she...

I just left the nail salon and got home looked at my nails. I'm very disappointed. I made an appt online yesterday with a nail tech with top reviews. I had a different one than requested when I got there. It was fine i thought id give this place a chance . My nail tech was incredibly slow, just over 1 1/2 hours to do my nails, very basic nails and nails were not even at all with length shape and wavy and curved. I had a fill and polish with a small cut down, no design nothing extra. Her english wasn't great, i dont think she understood my wishes. i think if I had a different tech it might have been good. I was going to get my toes done as well, and design or chrome on my nails but it was so long and the prices seemed high for chrome 20.00 extra to rub powder on top for chrome and $12 for 2 glue on bows, I just got a light pink color. I wanted to do more i was just over sitting there for a simple nail request.Everything was Clean very nice just slow tech and i had an appt. Noone was waiting. I'd go back just get a faster nail tech the owner seems super professional cute salon i read really good reviews maybe just an off day the tech seemed unsure of herself. Everyone was super sweet. I went to this salon through recommendation of my sister process of getting my nails done went smooth but the very next day my nail popped off… now never have any of my sets I had done anywhere popped off as quickly as these did. Soon as that one popped of two more did the next day not frm harsh activities bu dem simple things putting on clothes scratching head. Spoke to lady named Emily about my nails saying they would fix them Wednesday aug 23 before that day had came two more popped off so at this point I had less than half my nails on so at that point I was fed up I wanted a refund. Not only when I walked in the tech that was supposed to fix my nails over booked so someone was alrsy in chair same time I booked the apt and so again fed up I asked for a refund for the nails that popped off I was told they don’t do refunds and I wasn’t goin to wait hour for him to be done with a client he over booked so not only was $117 wasted but so was my time and I will not...
