Shaka Shave Ice — Restaurant in Bend

Went on a Friday afternoon, specifically for shave ice. They were running about 20 minutes late to open, so took a bot waiting for the ice to thaw enough to get out of the mold. We were excited to see 'snow capped' was free..... should be called a 'snow flurry' because it was barely a drizzle - and when so many people are only visiting Bend in the summer, there's only 1 chance to meet expectations. The ice consistency was great; which is rare; so I'll be back and know to ask (& happily pay)...

I never do this to businesses but we had a very disappointing experience today. We waited close to 30 minutes for a shaved ice that was tiny, the flavor was only on the very top layer and the worker was less then polite. Would recommend trying out the other shaved ices...

Bit pricey for the amount of ice, but great service overall. Good number of flavors. Needs more shade nearby, though grateful for the seating. One of ours just wanted plain ice, and we weren't charged....
