If heaven had a kitchen, I’m convinced Dom’s is running it.
So boom—me and my folks slid into Dom’s seafood spot in Bristol. First thing we noticed? Empty parking lot. Now you KNOW that’s a red flag. I’m looking around like, “Either we about to discover a hidden gem, or we just volunteered as tribute in a bad Yelp story.” Skepticism on 100.
Then the wait hit us—it was kinda long. Stomach was ready to file a missing persons report on the food. But listen…WORTH. EVERY. SECOND.
We went full beast mode: jumbo Alaskan crab, extra crab legs (because why not flex?), shrimp, mussels, clams, potatoes, corn—the whole boil pot situation. And let me tell you—they ain’t cheap on the butter, it’s the real deal, artery-hugging, don’t-tell-your-doctor butter. They even hooked us up with a side tray of sauces like, “pick your fighter.”
And baby…when I tell you…normally at seafood boils we tap out halfway. Not here. We devoured everything, licked our fingers like savages, and then did the unthinkable—ordered more to-go. That’s how you know it slapped.
Did we stop there? Nope. Fried scallops—gone. Clam strips—obliterated. Washed it down with two unsweetened iced teas, because health. And let me give flowers to the counter lady—attentive, patient, and didn’t bat an eye when we started acting like crustacean crackheads.
Final score? 10/10. If you love seafood, this is your Mecca. Ignore the empty parking lot, ignore your doubts, and prepare to roll up your sleeves and live your best buttery life.

Read moreI've lived in Bensalem for 20 years and have always heard about Dom's but have never been. Today I happened to be in the area and went on a whim. While the place is super tiny and has obviously been there a long time, the food was fantastic! This is definitely meant to be more of a takeout place with only two or three tables for seating. I ordered a broiled shrimp and scallop platter and my husband had a fried shrimp platter. We also shared crab stuffed mushrooms, which were incredible 🙂. Prices were reasonable, platters had plenty of seafood and even came with two side dishes. We did eat in, so the food was nice and hot. I'm not a huge fan of ordering fried foods to go because they tend to get soggy sitting in the takeout containers; but if you live close by, I'm sure ordering ahead and bringing it home, it would still be fine. Next time (and there definitely will be the next time) I think I will order some pre-made items but cook them up at home since I live about 20 minutes away. Will also need to pick up some cream of crab soup. So many things to try! Hmmm ... Now I'm hungry again after writing...
Read moreLittle place where you can buy hot platters of seafood, raw or crabs, fish, scallops by the pound for cookung at home. Great service from a petite dark haired lady, very friendly, answered all my questions with a friendly attitude. We were nearby, but in a hurry and looking for something we could take out. So i walked over and ordered fried scallops and shrimp platter with a crab cake for me, and a shrimp platter for my husband and lobster bisque. All was great, huge shrimp, huge thick scallops, and the bisque was omg fan-damn-tastic. Before i left i also got 1 pound of cold crab salad. Thought it would be good with crackers the next day for lunch. Boy am i glad i did, it's probably my fav. The shrimp and scallops are sooooo big that we are heating it up and having it for supper also. I'd go for take out again and again. Unfortunately, we'll never know when we'll be back. And it's...
