After driving 5 hours back from spending time with our family for the Holidays we decided to drive thru our neighborhood McDonald's on Regional Airport road for dinner. The person taking the order was either not paying attention or was to busy to care to pay attention to his job. I had to repeat my order more than twice.
I pulled up to the pay window and the person at the window mumbly repeated my order to me and I paid. I pulled up to the food window and they handed me my bag of food and I asked if everything was in the bag and he said yes and complimented me on my car. I handed the sack to my wife and we drove home to eat.
I got drinks out of fridge and opened the sack to only find my wife's salad and only my wife's salad. In the digital age of computers how hard is it to read the computer screen and place all the correct items in the bag.
I returned to the the McDonald's and a person in a blue management shirt was coming out of the entrance and I asked him if he was the manager. He identified himself as the manager. I explained the problem I had and he stated that this was not his store and that I could go inside and speak with Alex. Instead of apologizing and walking back into the store and assisting me he continued walking to his car for his smoke break, which was apparently more important than any type of customer service.
Once inside I asked for the manager Alex and had to re explain my situation and asked for a full refund of my order which he responded that he could not do that, because he didn't know what to do. But ISAIH who I spoke to on the way in jumped in and took over like he was the manager. Again no one apologized and they were quick to be argumentative with me the customer so I became argumentive as well.
ISAIH did in fact attempt to refund me for just my meal and handed me the money and the receipt. After examining the transaction I had to point out that he only did a partial refund and not all the items that I ordered on my meal. He then had to do an additional refund. Again I never got an apology, but I did get offered by ISAIH that he would call the police.
I didn't curse or threaten anyone to cause someone to call the police. I have been in many managerial rolls over my 30 plus year career and was trained to listen too the customer, apologize and then ask how I could fix there issue. APPARENTLY AT MCDONALDS THEY THREATEN YOU BY CALLING THE POLICE AS THERE APOLOGY STRATIGY.
Time of my order was 11/24/2017 at 6:58pm order # 5 Refund was processed at 11/24/2017 at 7:17pm order# 69 2nd refund was processed at 11/24/2017 at...
Read moreRUDE HORRIBLE managers. They need to be fired immediately.
When I got home, my food was incorrect so I called the store and spoke to a female manager who told me I had to drive back in order to get a refund but that she would help me once I got into the drive-through line When I arrived at the drive-through line, she was there, and she very rudely told me I needed to park and come inside, because refunds cannot be given at the drive-through line, which is a lie
I went inside, and she refused to help me and she sent her male coworker who claimed To be her boss and he dumped the food out of the bag to inspect it and handled it with his hands and told me it looked like some fries were missing. Therefore, I’m not getting a refund and needed to leave the store.
I told him he needed to give me a refund immediately and he said I needed to leave the store. I told him I’m there for a valid reason and they needed to refund me and he refused and said I needed to leave the property. He created a health problem by touching my food so of course I’m not going to take it and eat it, especially since it was the wrong order to begin with
This was the rudest encounter I’ve ever had and I will never come back to any McDonald’s due to this interaction I had to leave without my food and without any money, so basically a theft occurred
While I was there, the employees in the back started laughing and making fun of me and stated that it’s just a hamburger and I shouldn’t be so upset and They started using profanity.
I immediately went to the parking lot and called corporate and filed a complaint, and also filed a chargeback with my bank, which I told the manager that I would do and he said he didn’t even know what a chargeback was, which indicates his Level of knowledge. These managers both...
Read moreI have never been treated so rudely before in any McDonalds or any Resturant in NWA. I drive Uber Eats and have done almost 2K deliveries. I waited patiently for my order to be completed. The young lady fulfilling mobile app orders was moving super slow and very snippy to everyone around her. Again, I waited patiently for her to completely my order. When she handed it to me only half of the order was bagged properly and sealed as they are supposed to be. Instead she handed me the 1 bag and a full tray of open drinks. I asked kindly if she would please bag the drinks as they are supposed to be sealed. They are supposed to do this to protect the driver, the customer and the Resturant. She processed to start throwing things and saying very hateful things. When I asked her what her name was she refused to tell me and just kept yelling "have a nice day ma'am". I refused to walk away and kept asking can you please tell me your name. She got a very snide, hateful look on her face and said "Mary" however I have a feeling that's probably not her really name. It was such a scene she caused that the family behind me actually looked at me with huge eyes and said "WOW, that was so uncalled for and super rude". The lady even smiled at me and said hope you have a great night and sorry you were treated that way! I smiled back and said thank you and good luck. The fit this young lady just threw and the hateful things she was saying is dumbfounding all because I asked her to please do her job correctly. I was honestly very nice about it too like I always am. I will never personally spend a dime in this McDs all because of the way she acted. Nor will I accept another Uber request from there....
