Night Owl Tavern — Restaurant in Bentonville

I’ve been to this bar many times over the course of years and I decided that after the last two occasions I came by, I won’t be coming back. The male bartender at the Night Owl has a bad attitude for no warranted reason. He completely embarrassed not only me but also my partner by yelling at us across the entire packed bar. We had ordered a drink and saw friends so we said hi, which they were sitting right by the counter. In that timeframe of less than 3 minutes, he was yelling at us to pay for our drink as if we were going to walk away without. We also asked to have our drinks dressed when he started to make them and he laughed and said, “No.” This 5 minute exchange was completely uncalled for as we were just two people trying to enjoy our night and get the drinks WE would ultimately be paying for. This tiny bar is a new fave of mine and should be yours too. Not only is it a cozy size but Skyler and Gregory are a fun and friendly duo that made myself and my friends love the place even more. My hubby and I stopped here with a couple friends. The guys got to enjoy lots of different whiskeys while Gregory threw down some serious knowledge on what’s clearly a passion of his! #respect. The girls and myself, on the other hand enjoyed their house strawberry lemonade (with gin) that was fantastic. We don’t go out all that much but from now on when we do, this spot will be on the itinerary. Also, pro tip #1, you can have the small plates from the Fire (food) Truck next door delivered, which is 10/10 the move - ask the bartenders how. Second pro tip, get the strawberry lemonade drink! I am lightly inebriated and need to share this Jewel amongst Giants in Bentonville. The Night Owl Tavern has a unique texture of hanging out at a friend’s house, to mingling amongst the locals. It captures a hometown feeling that is close to being lost. The bathroom is clean, the furniture as well, the space is quaint and comfortable. I won’t lie, I caught feelings for it instantly.
