Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Bentonville

I am genuinely sorry I have to do this, but after the food I just received I have to warn others.. I just went to this Cane’s and was supremely disappointed. I usually love this location, and get it as a treat for myself after a long day. That is why I stopped by today, I had a very long and tough day and wanted to have something delicious when I got home. I was quickly extremely saddened when I got home, EVERYTHING I got was cold, and not only cold but either raw or soggy. Mind you I live a mile from the store and it takes less than 5 minutes to get home, I was also the only one in line and got through the drive through in about a minute (which is suspicious in itself because everything is supposed to be cooked to order.) The bread was almost stale but soggy at the same time, the french fries were raw and cold, the chicken was cold, unseasoned, and every piece had tendons I had to either chew through or spit out. The sauces were extremely bland, which is unusual for this location, and everything needed seasoning. This location is usually spot on, but this visit was very underwhelming. When paying a premium of $11 for a meal the standards are higher. The reason I’m giving two stars is because the customer service was great and the coleslaw was delicious (which is obviously prepped in the morning and stored all day, so if that’s bad it’s a recipe issue) I understand it was a Friday night so maybe they want to get ahead of a rush, but when there is nobody else in line they should take more pride in their food. I am a college student in Joplin, MO, and my friends and I drive down to Bentonville just to come eat at this Cane's. It truly has some of the best service and consistently brings out good, fresh chicken. I am always blown away with how fast they move from taking my order to calling out my name with my food on the counter. Seriously impressive. The chicken is always crunchy and tender, the Texas toast is buttered to perfection, and the fries are exactly how crinkle cut should be. A lot of people might think that the chicken isn't as flavorful, but that's because it's meant to be paired with the sauce. The chicken and Cane's sauce combo is a fantastic duo. Furthermore, their sweet tea is always full and fresh, and it pairs excellently with their chicken and fries. This Cane's also has a fantastic outdoor seating arrangement, with a windowed garage door that opens up to let the breeze through. In addition to the great atmosphere and food, the management here does an excellent job. The staff have come around to ask if I needed refills, I have been able to meet the manager , Jeremiah, on more than one occasion since he's always out serving, and they always are willing to strike a conversation.
