Skip this place. Notice that the owners/management don't reply to any reviews here. The service is horrible and the drink aren't worth the price. Came in at 9:30 and we were seated. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks ordered, they never asked us about food. I assumed they'd ask when they brought the drinks. Dropped the drinks about 10 minutes later. At 10:06 I finally flagged down a server and said we wanted to order food and he told us that they stopped serving for after 10. Their poor service kept us sitting there 6 minutes too long and they refused to serve food and didn't comp the drinks or anything for their mistake on top of the attitude the guy gave us. Their drinks aren't worth the $10 they charge, I can make a better Old Fashion or Manhattan than they can. Service was horrible. So many good places around there that are better. Skip it, it...

That's all you need need to know about this gem located in downtown Bentonville. Scotch & Soda is a must-see for anyone visiting (or living in) Bentonville or the surrounding NW Arkansas region.

The staff is friendly, prices are $$-$$$, and the drink selection is simply unmatched. Even in larger cities, I have not found any bars with a selection as well-selected and diverse as Scotch & Soda.

For those new to scotches, the staff takes their time in answering any questions one may have. For the casual visitor, S&S serves as an excellent (and classy) place to go for drinks.

Pro-tip: Make sure to sign up for their (free) challenge. Drink 100 scotches off their list and you'll get a discount there FOR life. Easier said than done as last time I checked, only one person has completed that...

Now to commence with the elder millennial section of this review. At my old age of 34, I enjoy getting a nice drink and talking with friends. This is really only possible outside on the patio. Love me the patio and frankly, I won’t sit inside at all here. Indoors, the noise is overbearing, it’s very crowded (like you are literally sandwiched between sweaty people to try and order at the bar) and it’s dark. Not like mood lighting, but “I might trip and spill my $15 drink” dark. Okay, end rant.

Seriously though the drinks are yummy. I order something new every time I am here (once or twice a month) and it’s amazing. I don’t think you can get a bad drink here. Impossible.
