Learn moreThere are a few reasons why I am going to give this establishment a 2 star review and most of it has to do with service. My husband and I came to Arkansas from Indiana to have a weekend getaway in our best friends home town area. When we were told we were eating here I was beyond excited! I just love high quality food and the bistros pictures looked amazing. My friend booked a brunch reservation for 2:15 which only gave us 45 minutes which makes me a little nervous as someone who has managed restaurants and has been a server. We all looked at the menu before we came. We arrive and the physical atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous but immediately the hostess didn’t give a warm welcome and took 10 minutes to seat us with a reservation and a ton of open tables. We sit at our table and all of us immediately know what drinks we would like and then order our food. Our server never told us her name but I made the choice to get the crab enchiladas, Cuban beans, and potato croquettes. My husband had the French toast, fish tacos, and a berry jar. One of our friends ordered the enchiladas as well. The food starts arriving. It’s around 2:45 and the server checks on us. The crab is enchiladas (which was my friends and I’d main coarse) had not arrived and neither did my husbands berry jar. So we asked. The servers response was “ we are out of those” No apologies and never came back to inform us of this. I’ve always been taught if you’re out of something you need yo inform your table so they can choose a replacement. So I ordered the fish tacos. By this time it is 2:58 and the tacos arrive. My friend and I that were not informed over the enchiladas were trying to eat our now entrees as fast as we can. My friend ordered a refill on his coffee with the response we are out and not given any suggestion options. At this time I told the server to go ahead and bring our checks please. We still tipped 18% but I hope the next time we visit and come to eat here the communication and friendliness is better. This just wasn’t a good first impression with multiple servers staring at us and picking up plates to push us out it felt like when we were not told our main entrees ran out and waited with no communication. On the plus side food and cocktails...

My beautiful wife and myself stepped in to grab a warm cup of coffee - some soothing ambiance and what had turned in to be one of the BEST breakfast experiences ever. Joy, our charismatic, sweet and most genuine server, completely knocked it out of the park with her BIG smile, wonderful attitude and a genuine delivery of herself. We both chose the Huevos Rancheros. Joy advised us that we are the very first to have this new dish. Excitedly we ordered and waited for what seemed just minutes, our anticipated breakfast has arrived.
Being advised that the Head Chef & Asst.Chef put this together for us Brought my wife and I great happiness. That 2 out of towner's were important enough for the Head Chefs to prepare our meal. The delivery was perfect. With a display reminded me of a fine art gallery. I looked forward to the first bite of this succulent breakfast. First bite, a little off from my expectations. It was just the edge, just the first bite. Like a child in a candy store who has his eye on the greatest piece of chocolate ever before seen I continued bite after bite. Then, it hits my taste bus.....All the ingredients mixed, blended and twisted one with another gave me a holiday surprise of flavor as it entangled with my pallet. Happy happy Joy Joy ( no pun intended ) A delightful mixture filled my mouth and warmed my heart. It was like Christmas all over again and I received the best gift ever. Service, food and ambiance is just what God wanted for us this morning. If there is a best if the best comfort food intertwined with a warm, cozy and inviting atmosphere, Table Mesa Bistro in the town square Bentonville AR. Has definitely claimed the Golden Ticket, the grand put bah, the top of the top award of excellence. If there were Golden stars I would give a 10 all around
Thank you Joy, and the Chef & asst. Chef &Table Mesa for one of the most delightful breakfast experiences ever.

Read moreWas in town for work and checked out Walton's Museum and downtown Bentonville. This place seemed like a nice casual place for dinner so I stopped by.
I walked in and was immediately greeted by their hostess. She walked me to the bar side since I was a table of 1. (Yep, I was lonely during my trip) As We we're walking there, I noticed around and it was a nice dark ambiance with dim yellow light all around. Mostly adults here - probably wanted a bite after work, like me. As I said, nice casual place :)
I sat down and browsed the menu for around 10 minutes until a waitress came by. After asking around some menu items I ended getting the Slow Roasted Chipotle Brisket. I was feeling Mexican and beef that night.
I waited for around 15 minutes and my food came. I was so excited even though the wraps looked pretty small. I mixed the beans and rice with the tortilla and mushed and gushed everything. I'm not going to lie, the food was pretty average tasting. Nothing special or "amazing". The rice and beans had little flavor and the tortillas were a bit dry.
Nonetheless, the service was excellent and the inside was cool and cozy. That's why I'm not giving a 3 star.
Oh and towards the end of my meal, a lady came in and sat next to me. Turns out she was alone as well and was visiting for work. We ended up chatting for a while. She was pretty cool and I hope to...
