This is the best place in NWA for eating the indian food, taste wise. However, there is a heads up- the food you get here is of a typical North Indian/ Punjabi style. So people looking for southern style food may not find it good. This is a food truck. We managed to reach when it was almost the closing time. So We haven’t had the chance to eat a lot of stuff. I ordered a bowl of rice with chicken, which comes with the naan and a tiny bit of chhole ( chickpea) salad. And my husband ordered a bowl of chicken biriyani . We took the Gulaab jamun as desserts. The food was hot and fresh. The taste and the aroma was that of a good quality ingredient. However, we found the portion size to be small as compared to the prince. The gulab jamun was not the best one, it was tiny and was a bit hard. Still it was not too bad, let’s call it a decent one. The naan was rather quite a mediocre. Overall we felt good about the quality of the curries. I wish to go back again mostly for the street foods. It would be nice if the owners rethink about the portion sizes. Nevertheless we...
Read moreWe decided to give this place a shot since the previous Indian food truck was no longer there. We ordered around $35 worth of food which we were told would take around 10-15 minutes to be ready. Flash forward 30 minutes later when we approached the food truck to see about our order... the owner/proprietor told us she needed our card back to charge us $7 for the “extra” naan bread we ordered. This was pretty surprising considering we had waited patiently well over 30 min for our order..and they insisted they needed to charge us $7 extra for obviously store bought bread (members Mark or great value at best). So $42.50 and 40 minutes later we were upset to end up with bland, over cooked and pretty tasteless curry, rice and onion blasted Samosas. My advice would be for them to focus less on nickel and diming customers on store bought bread - and more time focusing on...
Read moreVery friendly and helpful service!! Had no idea what to order and didn’t recognize most menu descriptions but the front lady helped me order based on my very limited knowledge of Indian cuisine (I like Chicken Tika Masala lol - I got the chicken with curry bowl and it was pretty much that. The salad is spicy and intriguing!). Ended up extremely happy, best Indian food I’ve ever had and way up there among best food in general. The naan was bar none, rice was great, amazing flavor in sauce, chicken cooked perfectly. The dessert I opted to try, the rasgulla, was an experience!! To my oh so refined palate, it was somewhat comparable to a cotton ball soaked in honeysuckle nectar! Not something I would rush back to get again, but glad to have tried something so new to me! Will be back and...
