The real deal! As a military kid, we moved around a lot. One duty station landed us LA for awhile. Anyway, crawfish boils became one of my favorite things. For years, I have tried so many styles but nothing is as good as a good ole' Louisiana crawfish boil and nothing was as good as when I was a kid. Enter Bayou Boys! I chose them based upon reviews and soooo happy I did! Taste just like the crawdaddies I remember from childhood. We catered for a large house warming party and everyone LOVED them and kept asking where we got our boil from. The delicious crawfish boil was the hit of the party and we are forever grateful. Read moreI'm hoping that this was just a down day for my first visit. First the bad. The corn was cold and tasted like it had sat for awhile before serving. Literally one bite and couldn't finish it. The boil is too tame spice wise, but I understand trying to appeal to a broader clientele. It would be nice to have options or at least some hot sauces to choose from. Also, where was the andouille sausage? Now the good stuff. The care given to the crawfish and shrimp is awesome! The mudbugs were cleaned very well and not a single speck of vein in the shrimp. Also, If you like red potatoes and corn on the cob, this is your spot!!
