The Eatery at Up North Fields — Restaurant in Benzonia Township

I visit the area once a year or so and have always enjoyed the flowers on the corner lot. Well this time, I noticed "the eatery" and thought "I'll pop in and grab a little something on my way". WOW!! I was not prepared for deliciousness that was presented to me. I decided to try and chicken bowl, because it sounded so good. The chicken was warm, tender, and so much flavor! Then the fresh tomatoes and cucumbers?! So good! But I can't forget to mention the sauce. Drool!! I'm gonna dream about this bowl for weeks. Do not miss this not-so-hidden hidden gem...

Friendly service, delicious food, all within a beautiful flower "you-cut" flower garden. What else could you ask for? We got the chicken bowl which had yellow rice, cucumber , tomato, grilled chicken, and pickled onions with a yummy ranch style white sauce. We got our food within 5 minutes so, since it is right off the 31, it is very convenient if looking for quick food want a nice atmosphere and healthier food. Best unique food-find in MI. We've searched all over for a restaurant that does NOT have the typical MI fare (pizza, burgers, wings, nachos, chicken tenders). FINALLY we find this adorable little place. Very cute, unique menu items, neatest little theme of "Food and Flowers" (you get to eat in pretty picnic tables amongst the little flower patch). Easy ordering online ahead of time if you'd like. Friendliest owners/staff -- made the end of our little anniversary day-trip so special. We can't wait to be back...
