Dine here 4th of July 2022. Order roasted chicken, the chicken is good but the coleslaw and bread along with it are horrible, and gosh the service is not good; waitress is rude, when I say rude, she is effin rude no manners 🙄 we're trying to understand her since she's a grandma but gosh! 😏 please act on your age, life is beautiful to enjoy...while you can. Overall is not a good place to dine I don't recommend it.

I’m sorry about that. We use Broaster chicken and do everything by Broaster standards for the last 50 years. Also our homemade rolls are always a big hit at the many weddings we have catered with the same chicken also I would add. The coke slaw is preference. It’s made everyday with Hellmanns Brand cole slaw dressing. It’s very hard to get all the products they we have used over the years. I’m sure you are aware of the extreme help shortage especially in the restaurant business. We do our best. If you would like to try us again our pizza is absolutely the best. My family just ordered 3 pizzas and 2 orders of pretzel bites. While the food is good, the service was not. We did pick up and didn’t get the correct food. We had to drive a bit to get it so driving back to get the correct food wasn’t an option. I called and spoke to a man working and was told “your food is here, you can come switch it out but I can’t do anything else for you.” He blamed me for the mix up by saying “I have to remake the pizzas YOU took” and then when I asked for a partial refund, he mumbled he didn’t have time for this and was hung up on. While the food is ok, I cannot believe this is how this was handled. So unprofessional and disrespectful. I definitely felt like he didn’t want to give me the time or day or help come to a resolution. My fiancé’s family has been ordering from here for years, but won’t any longer due to this. I like to visit the little bar separated from the restaurant with its own entrance. There are always lots of locals hanging out and friendly bar tenders. I absolutely love real broasted chicken and this place serves the real deal. Prices are good. I prefer to eat in the bar as the restaurant dining room is a bit stark. The restaurant is family friendly. They also have pizza, Mexican fare with a menu that has something for everyone. I used to order my broasted chicken with a side of spaghetti, but they took spaghetti off the menu (hint, hint). You can get anything they make to go. They stopped serving breakfast probably because of the area's shortage of workers. Maybe they will start again, we used to come down from Traverse City for their blueberry pancakes.
