Rice N Pie – A One-of-a-Kind Culinary Gem
Rice N Pie is one of those rare spots you stumble upon and instantly recognize as something special. It’s not your typical restaurant—it’s a bold, creative departure from the ordinary, and I left impressed, satisfied, and already planning my return visit.
What makes Rice N Pie stand out is its inventive fusion concept. As the name suggests, they serve both delicious rice bowls and savory flatbread-style pies—but don't let the name mislead you: there's no rice in the pies themselves. Instead, the “rice” refers to a selection of flavorful rice-based entrees offered alongside their signature pies. It’s a brilliant combination of two satisfying, customizable formats that cater to a variety of tastes.
I ordered one of their signature pies, choosing grilled chicken, creamy garlic sauce, sautéed vegetables, and melty cheese on a freshly baked flatbread-style crust. The crust was golden and crisp without being greasy, and the ingredients tasted fresh, seasoned perfectly, and thoughtfully layered. Every bite was packed with flavor—savory, well-balanced, and just downright delicious. It was hearty without being too heavy and had a homemade feel that I really appreciated.
My companion tried a pie with shrimp, spinach, and chipotle sauce, and it was just as impressive. The shrimp were cooked perfectly—not rubbery, not overdone—and the combination of spice and creaminess gave the pie a nice kick without overwhelming the other flavors. We also ordered a side of seasoned fries, which came out hot, crispy, and boldly spiced. You could tell everything was made to order with care and attention to detail.
The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and casual—definitely a place that locals come to often and where first-timers feel immediately welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly, patiently answered our questions, and even helped us navigate the many customization options. You can really feel the pride they take in both the food and the customer experience.
One of the best parts of the visit was how efficient the service was, even with everything being freshly made. You don’t get the sense that they cut corners; instead, they’ve developed a smooth operation that balances quality with speed. And unlike so many restaurants that claim to be “unique,” Rice N Pie genuinely lives up to the title. Their menu is inventive without being gimmicky, flavorful without being overdone.
Pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. It’s comparable to what you’d pay at a casual sit-down restaurant, but with much more flavor and creativity. If you’re someone who enjoys bold tastes, customizable meals, and supporting local businesses that are truly doing something different, then Rice N Pie is absolutely worth your time.
I’ll definitely be back soon to explore more of their menu—including those rice dishes I didn’t get to try this time. This place has carved out a unique niche with its fresh ingredients, thoughtful execution, and welcoming vibe. Five stars from me—and a strong recommendation for anyone looking for something refreshingly different from the usual...
Read moreUnique, very interesting, innovative fusion concept. We found it by looking over the map for restaurants and the odd name caught our eye. Turned out to be an Indian / pizza place with a handful of popular non-fusion items of each type for those not wanting Indian style pizza. We did go for that, though, and the butter chicken pizza was incredible, as was the Tandoori chicken pizza. The Indian food meats actually work very well as pizza toppings, and I look forward to trying more of them. The crust is especially good here, better than many of the more standard dedicated pizza places. The service is top, the lady behind the counter being exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food came out in the time you'd expect a pizza to cook, and hot and fresh tasting. Decent decor, clean, and restrooms were clean as well. You'd have a hard time really noticing the place from the street, and it doesn't really draw your attention from the outside, but however you find it, it's worth going in for a pizza which hopefully you will enjoy as much as we did. My autistic son who has trouble liking a great many things had a respectable share of the pizza, which speaks well of the...
Read moreMy favorite pizza place! Rice N Pie puts it's own unique twist on pizza. If you haven't had Indian inspired pizza, then you are seriously missing out on something spectacular.
Okay, well itself is sort of hidden and you won't be able to spot it right away from the road. The interior is spacious and bright. Nothing to special to be honest.
The menu is mostly pizza and some Indian rice dishes. The pizza is staple here. You have choices of different types like: 65 style, chili, veg, and few others. All of them are rectangle in shape. It's not the traditional round pizza. You have your choice of additional toppings, most of which are free to add on. I definitely recommend the cilantro, onions, and jalapenos. They go well with most of the pizzas. Also just to be warned, the pizza here has a kick it spice to it. Be prepared! Especially with the chili pizza. It will leave you sweating and questioning your life choices.
Overall, you get a unique experience eating here. Indian style pizza is not at all common in GA. Be sure to check it out when you...
