Bag O'Crab — Restaurant in Berkeley

Second time at this place my girlfriend and I went there I ordered a coke and she ordered a natural lemonade, they brought as both a coke , then we order 1.5 lb of no head shrimp with 1 corn and potatoes, the guy brought me the wrong order a small amount of shrimps with sausages ( no corn no potatoes) so I asked is this my order ?? The lady says no is not, they brought me back the same bag with the corn and the potatoes inside and some pieces of sausages which I’m allergic to it , the waitress told me she did not put the sausages it was probably the cooks who decided to leave it in there ,So they took the bag back and just a minute later they come back with the same bag with about 12 -14 shrimps inside (small ones) so I asked is this a 1.5lb amount of shrimp? They said yes it is ! At the point I walked out and I asked the cashier to charge me for the drinks I didn’t want the food any more they didn’t do anything to make my order right or make me a new order !!!she calls the manager or supervisor and charged me for the drinks and didn’t say a word or apologize nada , nada! Super bad customer service, bad cooks, bad management!...

I just ate here with my toddler, who was attracted by the winged crab decor. We had the chicken katsu & fish fry lunch plates. Absolutely recommend it and will be back!

The chicken was lightly fried, juicey chicken tenders, perfectly cooked & fresh rice (our rice cooker broke a few months ago and I've been eating poorly stovetop cooked rice like a barbarian), creamy coleslaw, and a side of katsu sauce that was more vinegary than sweet.

The fish was panko fried and juicey, with french fries that in hindsight could have used salt but I was already eating fried salty food so not a big deal, and a side of tartar sauce and vinegary ketchup.

I paid $23 + tip for both plates. The staff was really nice. It looks like they have daily prices for their seafood specials (crab legs, lobster etc). Given the quality of the simple plates I had today I am sure their other food is...

Our food was quick, clean, and delicious. The crab was cooked perfectly. There were no dry parts, no burned meat stuck to the shell, no questionable or damaged pieces. The atomic seasoning was perfectly tangy and a bit of a kick. I loved that we could personalize the heat level. He even offered to bring some extra dry seasoning on the side in case my boyfriend wanted more spice than the mild level I'd requested.

Now.. on a personal note my awkward boyfriend dumped an entire glass full of ice water over on the table.. and then in his panic knocked all of our crackers and scissors on the floor. The gentlemen came over and made sure none of it spilled on me and helped us clean it up immediately. What gentlemen! The service here was on par, if not superior to many of the higher end foodie restaurants in the brkly/oklnd area.
