Binge Coffee House — Restaurant in Berkeley

Love this cozy and simple coffee/boba house! We were strolling around Berkeley, and found this gem. Location wise this place is perfect for students grabbing their caffeine booster. They have wide variety selection of matcha drinks, as well as Vietnamese coffee. My favorite is Black Sesame Latte. The amount of sweetness is perfect for me, and the coffee is not too strong which complements the foam very well. My second favorite is their Banana Vietnamese coffee. I've been to many coffee places, not too many places sell this drink. They use real banana pure mixed with Vietnamese coffee. If you love banana drink, you would love this drink. They also have so many snacks to choose from, my favorite is their popcorn chicken and pandan waffle. LOVE the pandan waffle since it's combined with coconut flake.

Binge Coffee is serving up some creative drinks — I tried the ube matcha and strawberry matcha, and both were on point.

The ube matcha was rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced — not too sweet ( ordered half sweet) and the ube added a creamy, nutty layer that paired well with the matcha’s bitterness. The strawberry matcha was lighter, refreshing, and a little fruity without tasting artificial. Visually stunning too — they nail the aesthetic game here.

Staff was quick, friendly, and the vibe is modern but relaxed. You can tell they care about quality and flavor.

The store is on the small side so it gets crowded. Their AC could use some work too.

Bottom line: If you’re into matcha and want something beyond the usual, Binge is a must. Fun...

AMAZING SERVICE! This guy who was serving us was so so kind and he helped us figure out which drink we wanted and he was very attentive and kept checking in on us! This is so rare honestly these days and he was so kind and really wanted us to find the right order for our taste and he also checked in after we ordered and wanted to make sure that we liked it and I sure does that if we didn’t like it that we would get a refund for our drink!! Top quality service and the drink was amazing. I got a mango Matcha and my friend got a Vietnamese coffee Matcha and it was delicious!
