Earthbar — Restaurant in Berkeley

The real reason for my review is this is the 4th or 5th time I've come here and they are unexpectedly closed. Completely unreliable and a pointless drive here. How is this any way to run a business? If you happen to be in the area and they happen to be open, then sure stop in and get a smoothie. I like the smoothies and the acai bowls, although they are fairly pricey as another review stated. But I wouldn't go out of your way...

I've had some good acai bowls here in the past, but there have been a ton of issues recently:

As someone else noted, it's unexpectedly closed sometimes. The caps on the acai bowls don't fit. They're sometimes out of fruit. Got frozen blueberries in my acai bowl (they have not been defrosted). This made them clump together and caused about half the bowl to be pretty...

Acai bowls are great, the smoothies are a little overpriced but still good. Unfortunately the establishment is all too often unexpectedly closed, and that phenomenon seems to change daily, making it impossible to be a reliable place to get meals. Even checking in with workers on time of close that day, it’s still closed...
