Gadani — Restaurant in Berkeley

We came here in a bit of a rush with around only 15 minute to grab ice cream and go. Upon arrival everything was fine not many seats but overall place was really nice and pretty on the glass that looked into the ice cream flavors. There were labels of what ice cream they had. Labels like chocolate and coffee were on the glass, but they did not have them. Workers were not that nice when we asked how long it would take for ice creams to be out they had said 20 minutes to get ice cream out because they make the waffle cone on the spot. We were told us after we had paid an ordered and one of the main workers who could’ve been the manager, or something was very snappy, had an attitude, and overall did not feel welcoming. , or some thing was very snappy had an attitude and overall did not feel welcoming when my friend got her waffle it was broken up and crashed into a bag and doughy in the center. If you like flavors like Matcha, lychee or Thai tea then this is a good place but original flavors are not here....

Holy WOW. Talk about decadence! The lavender ice cream is just superb - a perfect blend of lavender and sugar. Truly some of the best lavender ice cream I've had in the Bay Area. The Thai Tea ice cream was also tasty, though it may have been just a tad sweeter than it needed to be. The chocolate egg waffle I paired with my ice cream was light and cooked to near perfection, and I loved the chocolate chips that were mixed in with the batter. The employees were also very kind and patient with me, as I had hard time deciding just what amazing flavors I wanted more of! This shoppe is right outside UC Berkeley so if you're there for a game, a conference, or have a class, I definitely would hit it...

Delicious waffles! I got pistachio and rose toppings and the dried rose was a bit much, it was difficult to eat with the dried flakes falling off. But it was delicious, the waffle was warm and the ice cream was quality. I had a tea and it was also good quality. But considering there are so many boba and tea places in the area, I’d probably get a drink somewhere else and stick to the waffles as...
