The owner is the nicest person who I ever met. She has opened this store for 16 years. She has the most reasonable price in this country. 5 dollars for a bowel of delicious homemade fish fired rice, can you believe it? I love Kyoto Sushi.It is my go-to sushi place. It is a tiny family-owned hole in the wall that has been on Solano for decades. They make fresh sushi and rice bowls throughout the day and have a small selection of Japanese candy.

You do not eat here as there is no space for it, but I imagine this is what helps keep the prices down. The small space must help save them on rent.

I used to go there a lot on my lunch breaks when I worked on solano and I liked it at first because it was quick and the sushi was ok. However, The lady who is usually working there has a really nasty attitude and she does not provide any type of customer service. She has always been unpleasant but I used to ignore it.
