Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Berkeley

Mountain Mike's Pizza is a popular pizza chain that offers a variety of pizza options, including classic toppings like pepperoni and cheese, as well as specialty pizzas like Garlic Tuscan and The Everest. However, my recent experience at Mountain Mike's was far from satisfying.

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and was looking forward to enjoying a classic, delicious slice of pizza. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, I was disappointed to find that the pizza was dry and lacked flavor. The crust was burnt and hard, making it difficult to chew and swallow. The toppings seemed stale and unappetizing, as if they had been sitting out for a long time.

To make matters worse, the customer service was subpar. The staff appeared uninterested in serving customers and making no effort to rectify the situation. When I expressed my concerns about the quality of the pizza, the staff simply shrugged and said there was nothing they could do.

As someone who loves pizza and has tried many different pizza places, I was very disappointed with my experience at Mountain Mike's. I expected more from a popular chain, but unfortunately, the quality of the pizza and the customer service did not live up to my expectations.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Mountain Mike's Pizza based on my personal experience. There are many other pizza places in the area that offer better quality pizza and better customer service. If you are looking for a satisfying pizza experience, I suggest...

OMG! I have lived in Berkeley for 19 years and love many things about this city but pizza has never been one of them until now... I have heard of Mountain Mike's Pizza and passed by it but was hesistant to try it bc of the location but i was craving pizza like they used to make 20 years ago and gave in and tried ordering through the app but there were problems with the app so i tried ordering online but it would not accept the $5 discount coupon for a large pizza so i called in my order and the service from the time ordered until it was delivered was awesome. The nice gentleman honored the $5 discount coupon and i paid over the phone and told it would arrive within 45 minutes and the nice guy who delivered the large McKinley pizza did arrive on time and the pizza was something else... The McKinley pizza i ordered was still hot and the crust did not taste like cardboard and the bountiful variety of fresh ingredients made the whole experience incredible; this is how fresh pizza is suppose to be. The pizza was oozing with cheese and there was an unique taste in the tomato sauce that made this pizza stand out from other places; yummy! Yes, the prices are expensive but you are getting a better quality of pizza. I will be ordering from this location again in the future. I highly reccomend you try Mountain Mike's Pizza on San Pablo...

As a gourmet personal chef and a master baker, as one could imagine---I'm very picky about where I visit to get my grub on. Mountain Mikes Pizza at this location is no joke----the photos are exactly what you get---loads of pepperoni----as it should. I never understood pizza places that are skimpy on the pepperoni. According to Raj(an cool employee at MMP)....they make and bake fresh----and I could tell just by looking at it. The taste satisfied my pizza craze that I've had since a competitor pizza place in Oakland attempted to charge me nearly 30 dollars for a large ---claiming that that "they were the last honest pizza". Total bull. Mountain Mikes Pizza on San Pablo is the last honest pizza. In my culinary opinion---if you want great pizza you go here....if you want something else----well ---pray that it's just as good. This place is officially in my book...."Chef Approved!!!"---which means ----when my stomache growls and craves for pizza---I know where to go----no matter where I'm at in The Bay.
