During a recent rainy day adventure, my family and I had the pleasure of discovering Heyma Yemeni Coffee, a delightful spot that immediately felt like a warm hug amidst the dreary weather. This cozy haven not only serves coffee but offers an authentic taste of Yemen through its unique and aromatic beverages.
The standout for us was undoubtedly the Heyma Latte. Infused with the rich, warm flavors of cardamom and cinnamon, it was like a comforting embrace in a cup, perfectly complementing the cool, rainy atmosphere outside. The balance of spices was impeccable, creating a memorable flavor profile that left us eager for more.
What truly set our experience apart was the inviting atmosphere of the café. Amidst the charming, welcoming décor, we found ourselves lingering for hours, playing games and enjoying quality family time.
Heyma Yemeni Coffee isn’t just a place to grab a quick coffee; it’s a destination for those seeking a genuine connection and a moment of peace in their busy lives. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, Heyma offers something special for everyone. I can wholeheartedly recommend this café to anyone in search of a truly remarkable coffee experience and a place to make beautiful memories, no matter the weather.
We can’t wait for our next visit to Heyma Yemeni Coffee and to explore more of their delicious offerings! Next time I will have to try the...
Read moreWe visited this place on Sunday August 31. I ordered hot tea. My husband ordered ice coffee and pastries I did not like that they only serve drinks in to go cups because I try to avoid microplastics, but I had my own to go cup. When I was ordering I told them I would bring my own cup from the car, but they still made it in a regular plastic cup. When I came back with my cup they suggested just pouring the tea from their cup into mine. Of course I refused and they remade the drinks, but that moment was unpleasant for me. The music inside was very loud and the bathrooms were very dirty. I saw the owner’s comment saying the bathrooms are cleaned regularly, but during the several hours we spent there no one cleaned them. Their prices are like in good quality coffee shops, but the standards of cleanliness and quality are not the same. The staff is very friendly and that is a big plus. As well, I think the menu should include Half and Half because we are in America and that is something you find everywhere. Unfortunately we will not be...
Read moreHeyma feels like a second home. The moment you walk in, the smell is amazing, just imagine you’re walking into your Yemeni friends house with the smell of bakhoor (incense) and coffee when you first walk in. It's a cozy little spot and it's got the best vibes around.
Their new samosas? Incredible. They just added it to their menu. It was so good that I gobbled them up so fast I forgot to take a picture. The milk cakes are to die for, I totally recommend the heyma milk cake where it tastes just as good as the tea.
And the iced heyma latte is something special. It's the kind of drink that makes your day better as soon as you take the first sip. They’re even talking about adding cold foam soon on the menu, and I can't wait for them to possibly add that to the menu. I had the opportunity to have first taste and it was FIRE.
This coffee shop is more than just a place to get great coffee. It’s a great place to hang out, do work, or just chill while you enjoy a cup a coffee. It's like a little piece of Yemen right here in the...
