They Currently serve Dinner until 2 A.M !!! Quite Amazingly !!! Been here a ' Couple Times Now '. Very Clean Eatery w/Excellent Service from 2 kind Waitresses. I had their ' Delicious Thai Iced Tea ' that I love !!! Veggie Fried Brown Rice with Few Shrimps Added .... Not too ' Pungent & Just Right ' !!! Very Clean & Roomy Facility in the "" HEART ❤️"" of Berkeley. My Fellow Diner had a ' Special Request ' of ' STEAMED Vegetables ', and we Requested ' The Customary Condiment Stand ' w/Green Chillies in Vinegar , Red Hot SriRacha type Sauce , Dry Red Chilli Powder & Soy Sauce. They ' Complied '... Cut Mango w/Vanilla Ice Cream ' was Excellent as Well. A gr8 ' Small Local Business ' to Support Post Covid - 19. Very Comfy , Hospitable & Homey Restaurant. A lot of their Business happens via Food Delivery Apps. - thereby Opening Up the Dining Room. Not Crowded & Very Peaceful Spot w/Excellent Cuisine, Clean Place Settings & Very Kind Service from Vietnamese Ms. Lily & Ms. Sue from Burma. Alice on different nites is a Thai. 74 reviews 1.0 star rating 1/6/2017 There are so many Thai restaurants in Berkeley, and this is one of the worst one that I have been to. Went there for dinner and order what we usually order at a Thai place: Pad Se Ew and Thai Fried Rice. The noodle in the Pad Se Ew must have been old, because it tasted nasty with a nasty texture. The tofu in that dish was also old because it had a hint of sourness of tofu turning bad. It's pretty clear the ingredients used in our dishes were old, turning bad, and not fresh. For a Friday night, the place was pretty empty when we got there... three other parties, but they all left before our food arrived, and it was only us. I'm not going back here... don't know how they stay in business, and don't know what some of these folks are talking about in their reviews... this place is not a hidden gem. The server was also slow to take our order... but food did come out pretty quickly. Plus, she messed-up on one of our order: we ordered the fresh spring rolls, and she got us deep...

Horrible! ! I stopped in for a quick lunch (or so I thought) food was ok.. not bad not great.. the problem was when the check came.. I gave the lady my card. She came back and said it was declined.. she tried a couple times.. so I picked up my phone and checked my bank acct.. tgere was plenty of money in there but I added anotger 100 to cover my 8 dollar lunch.. tried again.. still declined..i had no cash on hand so I called the bank.. got transferred to tge fraud dept because tgere was nothing wrong at tge bank.. waited 45 min for the fraud dept.. talked to them and there was nothing wrong with my card and plenty available balance and I was informed there were no attempts from the establishment to charge my card.. in other words eat @ thai card system was down and tgey didnt know the difference. . Wasted an hour of my life because the people here cant even tell when there system is down opposed to someones card not working.. and those same people are also handling your food!! Hmmm not for me...
