First time visiting this location. I've had some bad fast food/drive thru experiences before, but never so bad that I've grabbed my phone immediately to write a review to warn others.
The food is whatever. It's Rally's. You go for the fries and carry on.
Like I said, I've had some bad experiences, been on the receiving end of some bad attitudes, etc. Today when I pulled up, the first negative was that it was impossible to understand the person on the other side of the box. I laughed at my own confusion and asked them to repeat what was said. With audible attitude, the person repeated. I still didn't get it, so I just laughed and said it's ok. Anyway, I proceeded to order, which was a challenge, since I couldn't understand the questions being asked of me(what I thought was "medium or large?" was apparently asking what I wanted to drink). At which point I stated I wanted a shake, and what kind of shake I wanted. Was told my total and to pull forward.
And here's where I got upset.
I had to pull to the side where my passenger window was at the window, because the driveway is so dang narrow on the other side. Lee, my (not)lovely cashier, asked me again what it was I wanted to drink because I suppose he didn't hear me at the crackle box. I looked at him, blinked, and told him I wanted a shake.
Ok. Pause here.
I was already frustrated because of the attitude that I was getting through the damn drive thru box. The fact that it was heavy enough to be heard when nothing else could be says a lot.
So yes, I slow blinked him, to maintain my patience. He then, very emphatically, rolled his eyes at me, then asked me what kind of shake. As this point I have to close my eyes and take a deep breath, because, ummmm, what the actual @$#!??? I looked at him and told him the type of shake I wanted. At which point he rolled his eyes at me again and then told me my new total, with attitude full force directed at me.
The only saving grace to this experience was the nice lady that asked me pull up while they made my shake and brought it out to me. She was very nice. He had me so mad that I pulled up without grabbing my card I used to pay for my food.
So, basically, expect your burger with a side of attitude if you're unfortunate enough to have Lee...
Read moreWould give it negative thousand, million, billion, or even negative trillion. Let's just say that me, the husband, our friends and even our neighbors that we talk to all the time will NEVER go to Rally's again! Last time that we went to Rally's was over a year ago and during that time period, they were going down hill fast! We have been going there, well, not that location, but the one in St. Charles, for many years. I, personally never really cared for Rally's food much, but my Mom & Dad used to love it, so I'd bring it back home to them to surprise them, since the grand opening in St. Charles ions ago. The staff there was always nice, considerate, and the food and drink order was Always correct and still hot & fresh when I, we, or they would bring the food home. Well, the food was COLD, HALFWAY FROZEN, AND THERE WERE UNRECOGNIZABLE ITEMS VISIBLE ON THE FOOD ITSELF, AND NONE OF OUR THREE ORDERS WERE CORRECT! THE ONLY THING THAT TWO OF US ATE THAT WETE EVEN JUST OKAY WAS THE 10 MEASLY SMALL FUNNEL CAKE BITES! THE ONLY ORDER THAT WAS CORRECT WAS THE SMALL HAMBURGER PLAIN THAT WE GOT FOR OUR PRECIOUS BOXER CHILDREN AND THE HAMBURGER WAS NASTY, AS SOON AS I CUT THE ONE PLAIN HAMBURGER THREE WAYS I COULD IMMEDIATELY TELL IT HAD NOT BEEN THAWED OUT MUCH, LIKE ALL THE FOOD, AND IT HAD AN ODOR COMING OFF OF IT. DIDN'T WANT TO EVEN GIVE IT TO OUR CHILDREN! BUT, THEY HAD BEEN SO GOOD PATIENTLY WAITING, I CAUTIOUSLY GAVE IT TO THEM. ALL THREE MADE THIS DISGUSTED FACE, THE THREE OF THEM TRIED TO CHEW IT AND AFTER COUPLE CHEWS TWO SPIT IT OUT AND ONE TRIED TO, BUT THE NASTY THING WENT PARTIALLY DOWN HER THROAT! SHE WAS CHOKING ON IT, MY HUSBAND HAD TO REACH IN HER MOUTH AND GRASP THE "THING" AND THREW IT OUT ONTO THE BLANKY! MOSY HORRIFIC EATING EXPERIENCE EVER HAD! YUCK! OH, THIS IS HUBBY'S WIFE. PRETTY SURE I STATED THAT IN THE BEGINNING, BUT I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT IT CAME FROM ME! HE MIGHT HAVE NOT BEEN SO POLITE! AND THEY WERE IGNORANT &...
Read moreI start to order 2 grilled chicken sandwiches plain nothing but cheese, but before I get the sentence halfway out, she interrupts me to ask me questions about what I'm ordering...they do this more often than not, it's very annoying...since I was already talking when she started talking, I didn't hear what she asked, so I stopped talking, to hear what she's saying...she then starts repeating her question over & over very quickly, asking me repeatedly if I want the garlic clucker or the cheezy bacon clucker, back & forth, so I said I can't really order if you're talking... she said in a put off voice, then go ahead when you're ready...I said, sorry, but when you interrupt me while I'm ordering, it throws me off so now I'm trying to get back to my train of thought ... I order this same exact order all the time n no one has ever asked me this question before, so I'm not sure how to answer...I just want 2 plain grilled chicken sandwiches, nothing on them but cheese, so how ever I need to say that... with a large fry...she then asked if I wanted fries or a drink with that.. Yes, i asked for a large fry...so when she read back the price (they never read my order back to me to make sure it's right, which is also annoying) it was more than it normally is, but I figured screw it, I'll just pay it, it's easier than continuing the discussion to find put what's gonna be different, since i'm on lunch break & have to get back to work... so while both my sandwiches ended up being the exact same thing, one was rang up as the garlic Swiss grilled clucker n the other was rang up as the cheezy bacon grilled clucker, which costs more because it comes with bacon on it...but i didn't get any bacon on it...so even though I never said the word bacon, or asked for bacon, or GOT bacon, I was charged...
