We stayed a couple of nights here while visiting St. Louis. Staying out by the airport was not an issue, driving-wise, and the much better price made it worth it. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were clean and soft, there were plenty of outlets for a family of 4, the furniture was clean and in good condition. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast was well made and the guy running it was fantastic, really went above and beyond to make sure everyone was well taken care of. The only downsides were the internet wasn’t very good and the walls were quite thin, so the Olympic track and field competition being held in the room above ours was quite distracting.

Very disappointed with this location!!! The staff was great as usual, but I am perplexed by the current reviews about the rooms. Someone is lying. This is my husband and I third stay here and it will be our last!! The carpets are disgusting, not just a couple stains but just dirty. The tub had mold in every corner. The price for a King room was $250 for one night and the room was of Laquinta quality. Every room we've stayed in at this location has been awful and overly priced. Please take a look at the photos, can't make this stuff up. Do not stay at this hotel. Much better hotels near by for the same or better price. Giving 2 stars only so that people will read this

I travel 3-4 days a week throughout the US, and though I'm not the biggest fan of St. Louis, I will say that this was the best stay so far this year. This Holiday Inn actually treats you like a Diamond Elite member. It's not a perfect hotel, but none are. However, this hotel more than makes up for it with their amazing and friendly customer service, great breakfast (better than most), and the hot tub in my room was an amazing bonus. The check-in process was less drama and time-consuming than notmal, and they didn't ask me stupid questions like whats my license plate on the car I just rented. They just let me get to my room, and I am very grateful. 0 complaints.

We lived in St. Louis for 15 years and recently moved away - we decided to stay at this brand new Holiday Inn Express on a recent trip back to see family and friends. We were not disappointed!

The hotel is obviously brand new and everything is in excellent condition. The bed was SUPER comfortable, the towels soft and thick and everything was very very clean.

The large walk-in shower was great (we hate the bathtub/shower curtain combo many hotels have) and the water pressure was also great.

Housekeeping was very prompt and showed up about the same time each day (which was good because I was working in the room during the day so knew about when to expect them).

We did try the salt water pool but it was cold, and we were informed that because of it being salt water instead of chlorinated it could not be heated. No big deal, though.

Breakfast in the lobby was good, though we didn't take full advantage of it as there were often large groups of kids (sports team, maybe?) there in the mornings and it was crowded and somewhat noisy. We would take food back to the room and enjoy it there.

The best part of this hotel by far is the staff. We drove overnight from Virginia and hoped to check in early on Saturday morning. Unfortunately they couldn't immediately accommodate us, but the nice woman at the desk (unfortunately I do not have her name, but would like to recognize her) told us to try back in about an hour - at that time they had some rooms cleaned and we were able to take a much needed shower and nap.

Your staff member Brian was extremely helpful to both us and some friends that were visiting and had a room for one night during our stay. He always went above and beyond and made sure we had the two extra towels we requested each night. He's right, we do take a lot of showers. :)

Only one gripe, which is not at all the hotel's fault: we had loud neighbors on our last night - we were awoken by them at 2:30 with a loud TV and I think they never stopped talking (loudly) all night. We had to be up early for the 12-hour drive back home that morning so we lost out on some sleep. But, we didn't bring this to the staff's attention or anything - we just griped to each other.

When we return to STL we will definitely stay here again. We hope that the great service and great accommodations stay at this high level as the hotel matures....

We have stayed at this hotel several times to fly out the next morning on a trip. If I remember correctly they use to offer free parking up to a certain amount of days. But when we checked in they told me we where going to have to pay for the 4 nights we where leaving the car. At that point they pretty well had us! Then we had to park in a certain location.

The comfort of the room was nice and the lady at the front day the next morning was just AWESOME. Don't remember her name but she is a keeper!

Here comes the negative!

The drive that took us to the airport didn't even offer to help us load our luggage or unload it!

Then when We came back to 20 degree weather and after we got our luggage we called for pick up and they told me it would be 10 minutes so we went and stood outside in the cold temps and 40 minutes later!!!!!!! and 3 phone calls the driver finally showed up.

I know it wasn't the drivers fault because of traffic, but when you are told 10 minutes and you have to stand outside in below freezing temps I feel like they should have called me back and kept me informed. They need BETTER communications with the driver and the hotel. I can't image if it was storming or whatever even worse weather. Then the driver said he was illegally parked and wouldn't even get out and help us load our luggage. Then when we got back to the hotel he didn't even bother to help us unload our luggage! Needless to say he didn't get a tip and I usually tip those guys well

Here's the second complaint when we got back to the hotel and our Suburban snow had been plowed up right in front of it up to the top of the front bumper and to the top of the running boards. If it was a smaller there would have been NO WAY we would have been able to get out. Luckily I put it in 4 wheel drive and we left it there before the weather hit and we where still on dry ground or we would not have gotten out!

I know these are petty but just felt like my family had to stand out in the freezing temps because of the poor communications between the driver and the hotel.

Good luck with your...

I encountered the most outstanding front desk employee (Lewis)I've ever come across. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, their warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

This exceptional front desk employee exuded professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for every guest. They had an incredible ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining calm and composed, making sure every guest felt attended to and valued.

Their knowledge of the hotel's amenities, services, and local attractions was remarkable. They provided accurate and detailed information, ensuring that guests had all the necessary resources to make the most of their stay. Their excellent communication skills made it easy for guests to express their needs and preferences, and they went above and beyond to fulfill every request promptly.

What truly stood out was their exceptional problem-solving skills. On one occasion, I had an issue with my room, and they took immediate action to resolve it efficiently, making sure I was comfortable and satisfied. Their proactive approach to addressing any concerns made me feel like a valued guest, and I greatly appreciated their dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone.

Furthermore, their positive attitude and enthusiasm were infectious. They had a knack for brightening up the day with their genuine smile and engaging conversations. It was evident that they truly enjoyed their work and had a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Overall, this front desk employee's outstanding professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests made my stay truly unforgettable. They are a shining example of what a hotel front desk employee should be, and their dedication to excellence should be recognized and applauded.
