Update: They have 100% corrected the fries being limp issue. My friend ordered their Waffle fries and I ordered the regular ones and both were crispy to perfection! And I must add that the waffle fries are now my favorite. It tastes like a certain Fast-casual chains curly fries, but in waffle fry form. I wish I hadn't tasted it because it was too good...now I want to go back for more!
We also tried out the Jack Daniels BBQ Boneless Wings as well as the tried-and-true Buffalo style. Both were very tasty.
Then I ordered the Mozzarella "sticks" which are enormous triangles of melty fried cheese. 'Nuff said...on that one.đ
Lastly, I ordered the California Wrap (it came with mixed greens, grilled chicken, onions, bell peppers, and a side of chipotle mayo. It was the healthiest thing either of us ordered, and although it was fresh and delicious, I think I might add avocados into it for next time.
Now that my fridge is packed with leftovers...I might just go and have a little snack.
It's definitely a restaurant that you can bring your family to, and the theme is nascar-which is obvious with all of the race car related decor, photographs, and memorabilia adorning the walls.
The menu offers up an extended version of bar bites; many burger options to choose from with some Italian dishes in the mix. I figured I would give their burgers a try, so I ordered a buger after their namesake: The Victory Burger.
They did cook the burger to my satisfaction (medium rare) which is a bonus. Ive been to too many restaurants where the cook in charge of the grill sent out medium with a hint of rare. So I will applaud the cook for his or her skill at making that just right.
However, the build of the burger needs to be addressed, and mainly the bun. Burgers on their own are delicious, but can be greasy because of the fat. So they need to be presented on a bun that can handle the saturation of the grease, and still remain a solid and bite worthy base.
I have made burgers amd used Brioche buns, toasting them, layering them, and doing just about anything I can to prevent a soggy bun. However i find that no matter how much I love brioche bread, its not the best for a burger's base build. So my only suggestion for that is to request that the Victory Burger be place on a better, thicker bun that can handle the greasy situation.
That said, I need to address the french fries. I love french fries, and I prefer them to be crispy on the outside with that nice soft center; and the texture of how the fries are once plated should be consistent with the majority of the fries. I sadly have to say this was not the case for my meal that night. Some of the fries were extra crispy, some were just right, but most were soggy and limp. So it saved me the extra calories to not eat them, however I should have had to make that a choice, not a guaranteed "I'll pass." To be fair, I'm sure that there are people who enjoy fries made too oilyn I'm just not one of those people.
Moving onto the dessert portion, I will say that my co-conspirator loved the cheesecake, and the Dark Side of the Moon was devine. Even diving my fork into it gave me satisfaction; it was moist and had layers of airy mousse mixed with cake and covered in a thick fudgey chocolate with chocolate shavings and a signature moon (assumably for the desserts name).
For the most part, this was an okay restaurant. I wouldn't mind trying it out a second time to see if the food comes plated with similar soggy issues, or if that was an off night for the kitchen & line for Victory Bar & Grill. Or, if you've been there let me know what your food...

Our waitress was very nice but she never brought my soup as I had ordered and she was preoccupied with her conversation with the other staff member. After about 10min we were joined by rest of our party. We ordered coconut shrimp and mozzarella crisps which were good. Our waitress was very slow and usually I understand but the dining area had only 1 other family at the time- For entrees My G-son ordered spaG and meatballs - The meatballs outer edges were hard and dry and mealy in the middle - his words- "momom these are disgusting" he is 9. My Daughter in law ordered the manicotti the pasta was freeze dried at the ends we showed the waitress and you could actually hear the fork hitting the pasta like a hard knock- The waitress took it off the check, when she returned to see if she would like something else it was just too late to eat with us- she ordered 3 appys to go- My son ordered the chicken parm it is his "usual" as he is a local and frequents VL- The tomato "sauce" had no flavor and the chicken was overcooked hard and not edible- PS he is NOT a picky eater- He also had the clam chowder that he did not eat as he stated it "did not taste right" My mother ordered the Crab Portobello which was more than 90% filler and maybe 10% crab and as an FYI she was sick back and forth to the bathroom all night last night. I had the victory burger which was ok, there were 4 small very thin strips of roasted red pepper- a pile of onions and the burger was not cooked as requested. My gripe is the food was terrible and I spent an exorbitant amount of money- I would venture to guess the meatballs and manicotti were microwaved and the chicken was simply very over cooked. as for the crab- well 17.99 for lettuce and a pretend crab cake is ridiculous. My total bill was 131.05 and then I gave a a little more than 15% for gratuity. I UNDERSTAND prices have increased- but if you increase prices shouldn't you try to make the food through cooking and seasoning taste good and give your customer an outing to enjoy with friends and family. I was so very...

Have been here a couple times since my last review and the food:service has been great!
First time making order for pickup. Was very easy to do online with their recommended website.
We got the Cobb Salad w/chicken and Bruschetta with flank steak! Picked up with no issues. Was happy to see the nice sized portion and presentation! Was very good both salads! I would totally recommend them!
Only wish they would have toasted the bread for the bruschetta- other than that everything was terrific! Will definitely be using them again for take out.
Update 6/5/24
Went here for dinner. New paper menu- looks like everything is $14.99 - $15.99
Had the Chicken Parmesan dinner, was just as good as Grazianoâs but way cheaper.
She had the meatloaf- was very good as well. Both were $15.99 - good value!
Waitress was a bit scattered, didnât check in on us as much as we would have liked or expected. The other help / runners- were attentive to our needs(got more water/ bread/ Parmesan cheese.
I will come back- just not an hr before closing lol!đ
Update: 7/20/23
First time we were turned away was a Wed. Place was dead and they said kitchen was closed.
Second time (tonight) we came here around 9:00pm. They said they were closing? Website says 10pm. They said the patio is open. So we went to the patio and the waiter said. Sorry the patio is closed. Please go inside.
We told him that they said they were closing. He apologized for the confusion and asked someone else. By that time we were disappointed and decided to leave. Not his fault. Just following directions.
Place was packed. Donât get it. Guess we are going to Racks. To bad was looking forward to that Greek Pizza :(
2 times turned away- loose 2 stars.. sorry :(
First time here. Wings was good, better than other local restaurants. Chicken Parmesan portion was HUGE! Greek pizza was very tasty! Finally we had the Peanut Butter Explosion! Terrific! Server eas great too.
Only negative- sauce for the parm was too tomato paste flavored as color of sauce was dark and the 2nd chicken patty should have had...
