Los 6 Hermanos — Restaurant in Bernalillo

5 June 2024 - We stopped here for our usual takeaway dinner Monday evening, so my son could try it for the first time. He enjoyed his #6 combo, but all of our food with asada, as well as my bean, rice, and cheese burrito, were not great. We noticed that the wonderful woman whom takes always our order, wasn't the one doing the cooking like she always does... so whomever did cook our food, needs to be shown how to do it right. This is the second time our asada was not good, and I was hoping it wouldn't happen again so I wouldn't have to mention it. :/

It's also been very hot in the restaurant this visit and a few prior visits, since it's now hotter outside... not sure if the AC is off or there is none, but dining in definitely isn't an option even if we decide not to take it to go.

5 Apr 2024 - I'm not even the slightest ashamed to say I stopped here for dinner two nights in a row. The first time was for my biggest addiction (Asada Fries!) and a Wet Burrito with chicken; then last night, I tried a taco salad for the first time, adding asada. I hadn't had a taco salad that good in my entire life and now I have a new favorite main dish at this amazing restaurant! The woman whom takes our orders is always so wonderful. Don't forget to grab some of their delicious salsa from the little salsa bar - the darker green one is my favorite!

29 Dec 2023 - We've stopped here for dinner twice more since my last review, the most recent being last night. They were out of chile rellenos :( so I couldn't get my usual burrito, but I tried the wet burrito with green sauce and added chicken. It was amazing, especially with the delicious chicken. They also gave us a fancy pen, which was a very appreciated surprise.

We can't get enough of Los 6 Hermanos, it never disappoints and always satisfies our craving for tasty Mexican food!

10 Dec 2023 - we stopped here for breakfast just before 1000 yesterday. Service was great again, and the food was delicious! We ordered two country burritos with sausage, plus a wide of fries. We were SO FULL and satisfied! Can't wait to come back for more dinner.

30 Nov 2023 - My significant other and I stopped here for takeaway last night at about 1700. We'd known about this restaurant for awhile, but finally decided to try it for the first time.

The service was great and the restaurant is lovely. The menus are easy to read and filled with so many appealing items! Our order was ready in only about ten minutes.

It was so hard to choose what I wanted at first, but then I saw something I've enjoyed elsewhere in the state, and just had to try the Los 6 Hermanos' version. I chose the Chile Relleno Burrito; it was TONS BETTER than the one I'm used to - not just because it has more delicious ingredients, but because it was all perfectly made. My significant other chose the Asada Burrito and liked it enough; he just isn't a fan of refried beans or else it would have been his new favorite over the one he loves from a taco truck we frequent. He also got a medium order of Asada Fries, which we shared and enjoyed so much - they were AWESOME. The little bag of tortilla chips included were also yummy! The size of the burritos is just right, and so are the prices.

I already know what I want to try when we go back, which we plan to do on the future. We highly recommend Los 6 Hermanos if you haven't gone already! Don't wait to try it like we did, or you'll be missing out like we did, too. Wish we'd had tried it sooner, but so glad we...

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but I wanted to warn others. We base eating out on reviews. That said, we ordered two kids meals with beef burritos, two orders of two chicken tacos and the carne asada 5 taco plate. I repeated the order twice.

Chips arrived. Two baskets, both stale. The carne asada arrived and looked great. One of the kids burritos arrived and it was large and I asked if it was the kids. She left without answering and returned with two kids burrito plates and said “the big one is extra”… we didn’t order a large burrito! Our two taco plates were pork and not chicken. When I mentioned it, the waitress took our plates and walked away. Our sons burrito should have been beef and was steak. Not awful, but not what he ordered. I asked for a fork for him for his rice and beans and waited for that as well. The kids plates should have come with water bottles and those were never brought out. When I asked I was told “I’m working on it”. Needless to say, my daughter and I were thankful we had PBJ stuff in our camper.

The waitress didn’t smile once, never asked our order. We asked her where to order, and she said “here” as she pointed to the camper. We’ve been traveling for a bit and this was by the far the grumpiest waitress we’ve had on our trip.

After looking at our receipt, I figured we were also charged an extra $3 for who knows what. We’ll dispute that with our CC company. Needless to say, if I could give this place negative stars, I...

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️THE BEST MEXICAN-INFLUENCED RESTAURANT IN BERNALILLO!! IT HAS THE BEST SERVICE, TOO. IT OPERATES WITH A LEAN TEAM & THEY WORK SO HARD AND THEY HAVE NOOOOO ATTITUDE! DID I MENTION THE GIGANTIC PORTIONS SERVED ALONGSIDE 1985 PRICES?! SERIOUSLY, INFLATION HASN'T HIT THIS PLACE!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food, burritos, chips & salsa muy bueno; however, I found the cold temperature inside the restaurant making for a somewhat uncomfortable lunch.

⭐️I would gladly pay 3$ or 4$ more for eats in exchange at Los 6 Hermanos for a warmer interior temp. I ❤️ that the TV was playing a Mex station. The no frills dining room reminded me of my late great-grandmother's kitchen. The only thing that was missing -- her pot belly stove.

Only 1 server who also bussed/cleaned/cashiered/answered questions & phones, etc., (& I believe ONLY 1 employee in the kitchen) was extremely amicable, POLITE & 😊 sooooo efficient at her job, especially as many customers were eating inside & a long host of others were in line piling up to either be seated or to request take out.
