As a dedicated customer and a shareholder of Chipotle, I am compelled to express my profound disappointment and concern following my recent visit to your 25 Mountainview Blvd Basking Ridge NJ location. The establishment's cleanliness was abysmal; the glass doors were filthy, trash was left on tables, and empty boxes littered the kitchen area. This level of neglect is utterly unacceptable and tarnishes the high standards that Chipotle is supposed to uphold.
The food service was equally appalling. The rice was almost depleted, with barely a half spoonful served as a portion. Worse, the aluminum cover on my chicken bowl was smeared with sour cream, and when I politely requested a clean cover or napkins, the server rudely told me to "do it yourself." Such dismissive and disrespectful behavior is intolerable and in stark contrast to the customer-centric values that Chipotle claims to embody.
This experience was not only disappointing but deeply demoralizing, especially as a shareholder who has always believed in and supported the Chipotle brand. Immediate action is required to address these serious issues and prevent their recurrence. I demand a prompt response detailing the corrective measures that will be taken to restore the integrity and standards of Chipotle.

However, upon entering I was told that they only accept online orders and that "their system is down". I lamented that they always have something going wrong here (they close unexpectedly, run out of ingredients, and so on). In response, they laughed at me as i was walking out and shouted "we still get paid!!!". Hope that someone at the headquarters is reading this and be ashamed for what's happening to their brand.
Changing the rating two 1 star as it is not the first time i come here and they are unpredictably closed. There is a note in the window saying that they "decided to close early today". I did call their number at 5:30pm before driving here and the automated system said they are open. Read moreI wish they weighed the portions or controlled the amount of each ingredient in every scoop. It's not fair that if I want something on my burrito I have to choose the least desired meat to get a proper portion. Because the popular meats get devoured immediately and now the employees put one spoonful of the meat in the burrito to ration what's left. I hate paying $12 for a sorry excuse of a burrito with a spoonful of meat inside it. I'm not even going to get started on the wrapping of the burritos.. maybe I should. Ok I will. Although I see and respect the bravery it takes to look at a wrap with lots of ingredients on it, and then to mush it together like a fat diaper in front of the customer that is about to eat this abomination. I don't see any finesse in the wrapping and putting things together. Burritos should be the same experience throughout. That means proper layering of the ingredients rather than just plopping them all in a mound in the middle.
