I don't often post reviews, and I wouldn't post a negative review without serious issues. I've been going to this Chipotle since it opened in December 2018. The first round of staff there was amazing, the manager and I had developed a first name basis and I never had any issues. Ordered all throughout COVID- also amazing and no issues. Recently within the last 6-8 months, I've seen a major decline in the service and staff. At least FOUR times now- I have gotten home and realized I received a partially incorrect order, or entirely somebody else's entree. Yesterday I went in because I received somebody else's entree (I was frustrated, I worked all day in Ridge, went to Bernards, and drove 15 min home and just wanted dinner). At this point, I went back to the store extremely frustrated because this is reoccurring, and I had an appointment at 9:30, so by the time I picked up my food and got home it was 8:25, I had to drive 15 minutes back to the restaurant, where and unwelcoming and unaccommodating staff member told me I'd have to go online to request a refund (fair enough) but that he could make me another. I told him because of the mistake and the time, I no longer had time to eat because of my appointment, and I didn't receive an apology, or any other offer besides remaking the entree, which I had already declined. I've worked in the food industry and I understand what it's like- but I said to the man "I mean this is like the 4th time this has happened clearly the entree was completely switched with somebody else's." and he responded "Yeah, that's what looks like happened." Okay.... so what are you going to do about it... I hate to "bash" on a place, but I needed to share the poor...
Read moreThis is my first negative review ever just to say, I've never received the right order from here when I ordered a regular steak taco. I'm not sure if it's a vendetta against me or if people are just that incompetent. For a year and a half of ordering from this place, once every few months they have never made my order right ever. I've received tacos with sauce on the outside of the shells, tacos with a completely different make up then what I've ordered, tacos with nothing in them but sauce, tacos upside down and unwrapped so everything was on the inside of the bag, I feel bad for the uber drivers having to have it leaking all over his car seat. It's not the only Chipotle either, the only place that has ever gotten my order right everytime is route 22 Chipotle they are amazing over there, I would give them 5 stars but here...
Read morea teenage girl with dark hair in a low bun. she was shorter with kaike pants on. she saw me coming into the store while she's exiting. she intentionally shuts the door behind her. i so badly wanted to say something but i knew that she doesnt deserve my time. right after this happens another customer coming out apologizes for her behavior and says "i'll get the door for u instead" and opens the door for me. really shows the duality of humans and how that was one of the worst customer service experiences i've ever had. i did not say or do anything to deserve her shutting the door on me. i'd like to think she has something else going on in her life but when it comes to customer service, that's just flat out unacceptable and makes me not want to even come back to...
