East of Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Berne

We were the only customers dining in on a Saturday evening. There were maybe three dirty tables when we walked in, at least one of which was still dirty when we left. Service was very poor. Had to leave our coats on because the place was so cold. Ordered Chicago style deep dish pizza. While waiting on our pizza, we heard someone in the kitchen saying rather loudly that it took 4 people to make a deep dish pizza. When the pizza came out, the side of the pizza was somewhat high, the inside was flat. Basically was like the pizza was baked and then cold marinara sauce dumped on top afterwards. We asked for side salads and were told we could go to the salad bar and make it ourselves, so we did. We ended up getting charged for the full salad bar instead of just side salads. The people working seemed to be unsupervised teenagers of various ages. All in all, it was a bad experience. We are hardly ever in the area so haven't eaten there in a long time, but past experiences were good and we were really looking forward to a good pizza. We have no...

This was our go to place for the pizza buffet. People were very nice and attentive. And always asked what type of pizzas we wanted the minute we sat down. Been a couple mos since we'd been there and I'll never go back. For the 1st HOUR of the buffet, there were TWO pizzas. Nobody around to even ask about more. Waitress slid by fast, asking if we needed a refill, once in the hr we were there waiting on more pizza to come out. This place has went downhill so bad in such a short amt of time it's not worth it to drive 11 miles to eat here anymore. SO VERY DISSATISFIED. And so sad....one hr later....there's only 2 pizzas out again. And our glasses have been empty for 10 min. Before, it was filled with people wearing smiles waiting on you with any and every kind of pizza you could imagine. Not anymore. Youre lucky to see anyone who works there. Not worth our time or money any longer....

This restaurant does not even deserve a star. The "Salad Bar" was horrid. There was absolutely nothing on it. The pizza "Buffet" looked like the pizza had been sitting there for a week. It was so nasty. I got two pieces of pizza from the so called "Buffet" I sat down at our booth to see a hair cooked into the pizza. I told the waitress she then picked my pizza up looked at it and said I wonder which one of the cooks hair that is. (seriously!!!!) Then she goes and gets my bill immediately . She's says here I took 50% off for the hair in your food. Then took 10% off my friends bill because she saw the hair too... So all in all we did not eat and we had water to drink... We still have to paid!!!!!!...
