Kabab Gyro — Restaurant in Berry Hill

Avoid this gyro place at all COST, LITERALLY! The food is way overpriced for the amount they give you. I ordered a mixed plate and with tax it was almost $16. $15 and change to be exact. The gyro meat tastes terrible. No flavor at all. The grilled chicken was the same way. It had a weird nasty seasoning on it.

The meat was such a small portion, I could scoop all of it up in one hand and make a fist! The only thing good about this place is the pita bread!

Customers be weary of the lady at the cash register overcharging you. She'll add her own personal tip to your order it seems if you're no paying attention.

The price they're charging for this food is like this location is in a upper income area. NEWS FLASH, YOU'RE NOT! This is an old rundown area with the most terrible parking EVER! I get inflation is at a all time high, but these scammers are price gouging their customers. No wonder the place was nearly empty when I went in. It was literally 2 people sitting down eating. THIS IS AT LUNCHTIME TOO! No wonder they're price gouging their customers. To make up for the decline of customers.

There was nothing to complain about the food we ordered at this place — there are no kababs served here (despite being Kabab Gyro). No Chicken Shawarma either. There was grilled chicken in the gyro sandwich, you can customize it however you like by choosing what to put inside the pita pocket. I added tabouli, hummus, cucumber-tomato salad. It was reasonably priced at $7.99 and you can make it a combo for additional $4.99 and add a side of fries/rice and a drink.

There’s plenty of parking in the complex parking shared with other businesses as well. I was in the area and didn’t have much time and needed to grab something quick. My wife and I saw this place tucked in the corner of a shopping center on Thompson Lane, and tried it on a whim. Don't be fooled by appearances. Kabab Gyro looks like a complete hole in the wall from outside, but the food is really, really good.
